✨ Three Cubes video game ✨
🚀 The purpose 🚀
We are all about Creativity. It is the core of our video game. We believe that video games enable people to be creative, to express themselves, learn about the world and about themselves. Games transcend entertainment. We want to push the boundaries and add social impact.
💡 The innovation💡
We want to innovate the sandbox video game genre by creating a modular and universal game that focuses more into simulations and deeper mechanics. We see that other Sandbox games do not explore and invest into creators community, simulations and education.
🎮 The gameplay 🎮
Three Cubes game is divided into 3 game experiences that will have greatly distinct features and purpose:
🌎 Sandbox - for long-term projects, for example, build a Mars base!
🧙 Adventures - short educational adventures with storylines!
🏘️ Spaces - create your own room and visit the town!
You can play solo or with your friends!
✨ Three Cubes story ✨
We started as a group of like-minded gamers, drawn together by our shared curiosity for games. So, our small team’s journey began in 2017 within the world of gaming communities 👾 – we did gaming and Dungeons&Dragons livestreams, podcasts, hosted esports tournaments, worked with gaming influencers, participated in events like GameOn, LAN parties, Comic Con Baltics!
Then we started creating educational game-based projects! 🧙♂️ For that we used a sandbox game, Minecraft, as a tool to create this content with. We created packs of educational adventures that covered different topics: from mathematics, biology, geography, programming, history to engineering in Mars, civic education, studying climate change in Antarctica. Our adventures were used for formal and informal education. We reached over 35,000 students across 350+ schools in Lithuania, Poland, U.K., U.S. 🌎
For our educational gaming adventures we have won and were selected as Europe’s TOP 16 digital solutions in the Young Innovators category at the World Summit Awards, in 2020. 🏆
Over the years, our team has grown to over 20+ people! 🚀
Over the years, we felt like the game that we were using was limiting the possibilities of the content we wanted to produce. We gathered feedback 📝 from our players-students, parents, teachers, analysed the tools, features, content. All the research and feedback points to one direction — there is a need for the game we envision 💡 , as people want a space to create, play, learn, express and collaborate.
That’s why we want to not limit our vision and take the next step — release our own video game Three Cubes! 🎮
