Bouquets & Death Rays is a 100+ page, full color graphic novel - written by Jordaan Arledge (Alex Priest, Woman in the Woods, A Howl) and Natalie Cooper (My Kingdom for a Panel), and illustrated by Melissa Capriglione (Oregano & Basil, Falconhyrste, S.P.I.R.I.T.).
Our book is a love letter to female friendship and found family, and an examination of what can happen when we're forced to find common ground. Plus, we've included plenty of will-they-won't-they and enemies to maybe-I-don't-hate-you tension. Finally, Bouquets & Death Rays is a celebration of our personal love of romantic comedies and superheroes.Â
If you're a fan of morally gray villains - think Magneto or even Robin Hood - or romantic comedies, this book is for you.
There are two options when it comes to adding 'add-on' items to your pledge:
1) After you select your pledge level, you'll be taken to a page asking if you'd like to include any add-ons. If you choose to add an item to your pledge, you will be charged for your pledge level and the add-on item when the campaign ends. Some add-ons come with additional shipping costs due to size or weight. You won't pay those additional shipping fees at the time of your pledge, they will be paid within your survey post campaign.
2) You can choose just a pledge level, which you will be charged for when the campaign ends. When you receive your post campaign survey there will be an add-ons section. You can then add additional items in your survey and pay for those items and your shipping costs within your survey.
Shipping costs will be charged to you SEPARATELY through your BackerKit survey.
Add on items may come with additional shipping costs depending on the final weight of your order.
All orders are shipped through USPS and come with tracking. International backers are responsible for their own country's VAT or import taxes/fees.
When shipping internationally we will make every effort to properly fill out customs forms. We will abide by your country's customs and shipping laws, which means we will denote the package value as the cost of your order, and mark it as merchandise. We are not responsible if your country holds your package and requires extra payment to release it.
