The Trojan War Cycle brings together The Iliad, The Odyssey, and surviving poem fragments of the Epic Cycle—The Cypria, Aethiopis, Little Iliad, Iliou Persis, Nostoi, and Telegony—to reconstruct the full myth in sweeping, chronological order.

Follow Diomedes, the god-touched warrior who carves his name into legend on the battlefield. Witness the wrath of Achilles as he decimates Trojan ranks and desecrates Hector’s body—until his fury is calmed by the brave old king, Priam. Meet the diverse champions drawn into the war: Penthesilea, fierce queen of the Amazons, and Memnon, the noble black warrior-king from distant Ethiopia. Then journey with Odysseus across storm-tossed seas as he struggles to return home and reclaim his place among his people after the horrors of war.

But this isn’t just a tale of warriors. Alongside the epics, I draw from the great Greek tragedies—Iphigenia at Aulis, The Trojan Women, Hecuba, Ajax, Philoctetes, and Helen—to give voice to the lesser known female characters and shine light on the war’s devastating cost.
