Hello! This is Catherine, the creator of Walnut And Clam Design! Welcome to my campaign - the stories of the Zodiacats!

Since I was little, I love gazing at the night sky, but growing in a large city with tons of light pollutions, all I can see is just a few stars here and there. I still remembered receiving a planisphere when I was a kid. I was so fascinated with all the constellation drawings on the star finder, and I just couldn't wrap my head around the number of stars there are actually in the sky! My love for the stars is what inspired me to work on this project. Either if you like pondering the starry night, enjoy the stories behind the constellations, or if you read zodiac sign horoscope, I believe you will find something you like in these Zodiacat pins!

As the name of this project suggested, the featured Zodiacat pins are inspired by the characters associated with the stories of the zodiacs!

There are three freebies that are available for this campaign! The first one, cat with lantern is an early bird incentive, and you can find more information about it in the early bird incentive section. For the other two, please see below! All the freebie pins are gold plated just like the zodiac stained glass pin, will have the walnut and clam logo on the back, and will either come with one or two rubber clutches.
 

June 16:  Project launches! It will run for 21 days.
July 2 - Campaign ends
Week of July 13 -Surveys send out
End of July - Lock orders. Production begins
October - Receives pins
Nov - Dec 2026 - Rewards send out

Above timeline is just an estimate based on my previous projects. If there are any changes due to production issues, I will send out an update to all the backers. 

Shipping fee will be collected separately from the pledge after the campaign ends. This means your credit card will be charged twice. Once for your pledge for the pins/ stickers, once for shipping fee and tax/tariff where applicable. Here is the estimated shipping cost for each country:

 

Canadian backers
-I will be collecting GST/HST for all Canadian pledges along with shipping charges after the campaign ends, and remitting the GST/HST back to the Canadian government. Customer will be responsible for any provincial taxes.

US backers
-I will be collecting tariff in the pledge manager, and remitting it to the US government via my shipper when I ship out your package. The % of tariff differs among different items, and it will show up in your pledge manager for your review before completing your survey. Please note that tariff rates may increase/decrease during or after the campaign, and I will update the rate in the pledge manager when necessary.

International Backers
- Backers are responsible for tax/custom fees.  

*****I will not be taking any EU and UK pledges through Backerkit due to the VAT law. For UK backers, please DM me if you are interested in getting these pins and I can set up a pre-order link on Etsy.

All sales are final. There will be no refund, exchange, cancellation after the campaign ends. Please DM me if you have any questions or concerns with your products. Backers are responsible for providing the correct shipping address. If the package was returned due to an incorrect address/package not picked up, backer will need to pay for shipping again before having the package re-sent.

Backers are responsible for completing their surveys and updating their credit card with backerkit within a reasonable amount of time after the campaign has ended and deemed successful. Project updates will be sent out to remind backers for completing their surveys. Surveys that are not completed within one year after the campaign has ended (campaign end day - July 2nd), or credit card that are not updated within one year after the date of fulfillment (fulfillment day - approx. Dec 2026) will be cancelled without a refund.
