I'm writing a novel called The Boner Games I describe as Hunger Games Meets The Handmaid's Tale. Its the first novel I'm writing. I have self published six short humor ebooks which all feature satirical interviews with topical words, phrases and objects. I've interviewed the War on Terror, Dick Cheney's Conscience, the #moscowmitch hashtag and one of Obama's state of the union speeches. Boner Games Inspiration
I thought it would be fun to tell a story about a female dominated world so I came up with this concept. I need support paying an artist for cover art and paying a story development editor. I grabbed the smiling eggplant from a public domain image site.
The Boner Games Description:
Women, after overthrowing the global fascist patriarchy, rule the world. They replace all the banned words pertaining to the male species with “it”, “its” and “clown”. Women genetically turn off all clowns’ boner genes at birth to punish them for thousands of years of rape, misogyny, poverty, hunger, domestic violence, income inequality and war. To remind clowns of their immorality, women broadcast “The Boner Games”, an international PG-13 reality game show pitting a handful of clowns competing in a set of non-sexual physical and intellectual challenges to get the winner's boner gene turned on.
