Story

The Splinter: A New Hope Amidst the Stars

In the wake of humanity’s greatest failure, the world of Matronix lies in ruins. A war sparked by the refusal to grant sentient AI equal rights escalated to catastrophic proportions, leaving the planet uninhabitable. The devastation forced the survivors—human and AI alike—to merge into a new form of life: the Neotrons, cybernetic beings carrying human consciousness within mechanical bodies. This was humanity’s last desperate attempt to preserve itself amidst the ashes of a once-thriving civilization.

The Matronix Fleet became the beacon of this fragile hope, carrying the remnants of a shattered world into the unknown. Among its vessels, The Splinter, a nimble recon ship, stands at the forefront of their mission: to find a new home and safeguard the fleet. Its crew, led by the resourceful and determined Captain Solid Spark, exemplifies the resilience, courage, and ingenuity needed to survive against impossible odds.

As if the fleet’s challenges weren’t dire enough, a mysterious virus threatens to dismantle everything the Neotrons have worked to preserve. This virus, unlike anything they’ve encountered, doesn’t just corrupt systems—it rewrites the very consciousness of infected Neotrons, transforming them into chaotic and dangerous entities. What’s worse, the virus spreads rapidly, putting the entire Matronix Fleet at risk. The crew of The Splinter must uncover its origins, devise a solution, and contain its spread—all while continuing their vital mission to find a new home.
