You've been accepted to join the 2026 class of Cryptic Grove. Here you will find your full list of available majors, necessary school supplies, and various suggested reading materials.
Cryptic Grove prides itself in its diversity, both in the quantity of majors offered at this Sorcerer's University and for the quality of its students. Sorcerers and Magic Wielders of all races, ethnic backgrounds religious affiliations, genders, and sexual/ romantic orientations are welcome here!
Here at Cryptic Grove, you can choose your major (double and triple majors are available as well), and receive all the needed class materials that go with it. Each major selection will come with a textbook (which you WILL need for class- no overpriced and unused textbooks at this school!), a senior project, and a homework assignment, as well as a sticker proclaiming your chosen path of study.
How It Works
You cannot mix and match your items when you choose a major, but there are add-on options for if there are any pins from other majors you really like and want to add to your pledge. The option to double or triple major will allow you to choose two or three major sets (respectively) and receive all items from both/all selected majors. Double and triple major pledge levels also offer discounts for ordering several pin sets at once.
Each major comes with two 2" pins unique to the major you choose (your textbook and class materials) as well as a mini 1.25" pin (homework) and a freebie sticker, also unique to your chosen major.
Each time a new major is unlocked, a new set of pins (and sticker) will be revealed and will be available for you to choose from. At the end of the campaign, you will receive a survey where you can declare your major and add any additional items (pins, stickers, keychains, etc) that were unlocked during the campaign. Until the survey is sent out, you'll be able to change your mind on which major you want!
Early Birds: Anyone who backs the campaign in the first 48 hours will receive a free bonus sticker! This sticker is a vintage-style postcard that says "Greetings from Cryptic Grove" If you miss this window, don't worry! You will still be able to add one of these stickers to your pledge for just $4.
Returning Backers: Backers who have participated in my previous campaigns will receive a free 'Honor Student' sticker featuring the Cryptic Grove crest. This design will also be available as an add-on, but returning backers will get one for free to show my appreciation for their continued support :) Freebie Stickers: And of course, each major will receive one freebie sticker! Everyone who backs for at least one major will receive a free sticker for that major. Back for 2 or 3 majors and get a bonus sticker for each one! Each Major comes with one sticker of the Cryptic Grove crest with "___ Major" on a banner below it
The initial goal for this project includes two major options: Potions and Herbology!
When the initial funding goal of $2,500 is reached, both of these majors will be available to pick from, including all of their respective pins and stickers.
The Potions Major includes a Potions Textbook (2" enamel pin), Potions and Ingredients Set (2" enamel pin), Mortar and Pestle with herbs (1.25" mini pin), and a 3" Potions Major Sticker.
The Herbology Major includes Plants, Poisons, and Sentient Fauna Textbook (2" enamel pin), Carnivorous Bonsai (2" enamel pin), Potted Vigilantes flos ruber (Watching Red Flower) Plant (1.25" mini pin), and a 3" Herbology Major Sticker.

$3,200: New Classes Available! Unlocks Necormancy Major Declare this major and receive a Necromancy Textbook (2" enamel pin), Enchanted Skull (2" enamel pin), Necromantic Candle (1.25" mini pin), and a 3" Necromancy Major Sticker

$3,400: Summon Your Familiar- Mystery Acrylic Keychains When this goal is unlocked, you will be able to add a Familiar Mystery Bag to your pledge! Each mystery bag contains a summoning circle and all necessary ingredients for the summoning spell so you can summon your very own familiar. Be warned- you never know what may answer your call! Mystery bags will come with one of the above designs as a 3" acrylic keychain. These will be randomly selected, but if you have a strong preference for one of these designs, I will take requests. Leaving the choice up to fate is strongly encouraged though!
$4,200: New Classes Available! Unlocks Divination Major Declare this major and receive an Divination Textbook (2" enamel pin), Crystal Ball (2" enamel pin), Oracle Cards (1.25" mini pin), and a 3" Divination Major Sticker
$4,600: Cryptic Grove Crest Pin (2", Hard Enamel, 2 Color Versions) Unlocks the Cyrptic Grove Alumni Pin! This pin will feature the Cryptic Grove crest and will be 2 inches tall, made with hard enamel, and come with two pin posts. There will be two versions to pick from: a gold plated version in full color and a silver plated version in grayscale! Add one or both versions to your order in the add-on section
$5,400: New Classes Available! Unlocks Geomancy Major Geomancy Majors will learn the magic of crystals, the geology of this region, and study the way crystals interact with and store magic. Pick up a your crystalized spellbook (2" enamel pin), [Design in Progress] (2" enamel pin), and mini magic-amplifying crystal (1.25" enamel pin) before classes begin!
$6,250: New Classes available! Unlocks Artificer Major Community vote has concluded and you picked the Artificer Major! This major is perfect for tinkerers who love inventing and creating magical artifacts. This major comes with a quietly ticking Artificer Spellbook (2" pin), a Cogwork Beetle homework assignment (2" pin), and a Lantern Fly 1.25" mini pin. Like the other majors, this will also come with a free "Artificer Major" sticker!
Once the Artificer Major unlocks, there will be 6 total Major stickers to choose from! Each comes FREE with their respective majors, or add them individually through the add-on section.
$6,400: Unlocks Cold Fire Skull Pin This extra pin will be a recolor version of the Skull Candle pin that's part of the Necromancy Major, just with silver plating and a cool blue/ grayscale color palette! If this goal doesn't get funded by the time the campaign concludes, don't worry! It will still be available as an add-on goal through the survey.
$6,700: Unlocks BOTH LGBTQ+ (Rainbow) Pride and Trans Pride Cryptic Grove Crest Pins Show off your spooky pride with these two new Cryptic Grove Crest Pins! Like the two crest pins that unlocked earlier, these pins are 2 inches tall, with gold plating, 2 pin posts, and a hard enamel finish.
If this last last goal isn't reached, both of these will be available to unlock as add-ons in the survey!

October 1st to October 30th: Duration of the Campaign. You have until the campaign officially ends on the 30th to pledge or cancel your order. November 14th to 20th (ish): Surveys go out. This is when you will choose your major, pick any add-ons you chose from the campaign, as well as the last chance you'll have to add any additional items to your pledge December 1st: Surveys lock and cards are charged Mid to Late December (or so): Manufacturing begins. I plan on staggering production so everything finishes and ships to me around the same time Late January to Mid February: Production finishes, items are shipped to me for inspection, sorting, and counting Mid March: Pack orders and ship them to their new homes :)
This timeline may change, but at the VERY LATEST I plan on getting everyone's orders to them by the end of April. This gives me a little buffer in case production gets delayed or if anything needs to be re-made. Keep an eye out for updates with any timeline changes.
Shipping fees will be collected after the campaign has ended in the survey portion. In the survey, you'll have the option to choose which pins you want, add more items to your pledge, review any bonus items you may receive, and input your shipping address. Then you will be prompted to pay for shipping then :)
Shipping costs may change, but they usually look like this: US: $5 to $12 (depending on amount of items purchased) Canada: $16 to $22 Europe and the UK: $18 to $25 Australia: $25 to $30 (Shipping to Australia is really expensive, sorry!)
I am keeping an eye on international laws and American politics which are always changing, and I will be posting updates with any big changes to international shipping policies. That being said, there are a lot of things out of my control with shipping companies, so your patience with this will be greatly appreciated!
Once all the pins, stickers, keychains, and other items are made and get to me, I usually need a week or two to count, quality check, and sort them. After that, shipping can begin! I will try to get your rewards out as soon as I can, but please remember this shop is run by one person (me) and I don't always have time to pack hundreds of orders. I will still do my best to get shipping done as soon as possible, but please be patient!
On large orders ($150 or more) you will have the option to pay over time. This is means you can pay a small amount over 4 to 6 weeks instead of the full amount all at once, so no need to worry about dropping a whole paycheck at one time :) (unless you want to of course)
Pay over time will only be available for orders over $150, and you will not receive your survey until your order is paid in full. However, there are usually a few weeks between when the campaign ends and surveys are sent out, so your survey will only be delayed about a week or so :)
