Get Ready to Accept the Darkness

The Nightmares collection is a hardback collection of the three Shadows and Light softcover books. This 5.5” x 8.5” hardback book is exclusive to this BackerKit crowdfunding campaign.  The book contains 180 original oil paintings, along with the stories/meanings that explain what each painting represents.

Life is not pretty.  It never has been, and it never will be.  So many people search for a Zen-like Daily Thoughts book to reassure themselves that everything will be all right.  I know.  I’ve looked for that type of comfort my entire life.  However, I realized that the only way that things were going to work out for me was if I really understood who I am and what my true goal in life is.  This is that book.

Now, don’t get me wrong.  I love reading books on Zen and self-help, and I still do occasionally.  However, I wanted something to address the not-so-nice nature of the world, so I created a set of paintings that now reside in the Gallery of Nightmares. These paintings are part dark and part light, comprising the Shadows and Light series. They represent the issues in life, but also the hope that comes with being able to deal with the problems.

This exclusive hardback collection is all about moving from the darkness to the light.
