Coming February 21st to Kickstarter - Subversion is a cyberpunk fantasy TTRPG in a world full of magic, pervasive technology, wondrous creatures, and Babylonian gods. The era of the arcane masters is coming to an end as technology, corporations, and organized crime encroach on their totality of power. It's a world that leans heavily into themes of community, direct action, revolution, runaway technology, and hope for the future.
Games of Subversion will see you and your friends playing as envoys of your community, each from one of six fantastic species, each with their own unique combination of abilities. You are the ones who take action to protect, serve, and improve your community while trying to be true to yourselves as well.
Our game is like combining the technology of Neuromancer, the sacrifice of The Hunger Games, the magic of The Magicians, the rebellion of Star Wars, the community of The Goonies, and the heart of Avatar the Last Airbender.

A flexible, d6-based, dice-pool game system that allows multiple and creative solutions to almost every encounter. The better you are at a skill, the more dice you roll, but you’ll only keep the highest three, meaning more skilled characters have higher chances of critical hits and fewer chances of critical failures.
A player-created community that acts as another character, helping the PCs and needing their help.
