Like your adventures a little WEIRD?
Three-eyed goblins, psychic flowers, plant people, un-dead botanists, and a carnivorous cauldron (among other things) await you in this Castle Whiterock tie-in for DCC RPG and Fifth Edition brought to you by Explore Dungeons. Designed by Julian Bernick and Chris Williams, with cartography by Brett Hess. 5e conversion by Scott Moore.
Background Long ago, three eccentric dwarven scientists, shunned by their more conventional brethren, found a remote corner of the underworld in which to conduct their under-botanical experiments. Grimtar, Vamshal, and Korgold ventured deep beneath what was Castle Whiterock, to an empty cavern with fertile ground for growing mushrooms, mosses and other under-plants, finding it a perfect cave complex to house their laboratory. Unbeknownst to his companions, Grimtar, the leader, had a secret agenda...
Two Versions
Designed by Julian Bernick and Chris Williams, the DCC RPG version is for 4-6 PCs of 4th level and features cover art and old school B&W interior art by Dan Smith. Hand painted maps by Brett Hess.
Converted by Scott Moore from the original manuscript, the 5th Edition version is for 4-6 PCs of 8th level and features cover art and full color interior art by Raven Evermoor.
This adventure can be run as a one-shot convention game, dropped into any campaign milieu, or it can be inserted as a side quest within the confines of Castle Whiterock.
What Else? Be sure to grab the new 'Seeds of (mis)Fortune' DCC dice set (with a new magic item insert), poster maps, and previous books in the Heroic Adventure! line of DCC RPG modules, including Evil Never Dies and Vault of the Murderworm.
