The two main funding goals are to fund the first three pins of this mini series! The goal is €900. Any other pins are stretch goals!
All pins in this series are SOFT ENAMEL pins with dyed metal. Meaning that some recessed parts will have soft enamel in them, and the details are printed on top of the flat raised surface.
The aim is to have most pins around 2 inches in size, but further tests will dictate slight mm variations here or there.

These freebies are both wooden charms that will be made on my fresh new UV printer. That is the plan for once the machine arrives to my home-office this year!
My design is a pangolin to match Geeky's wonderful set of unique animals, as I find myself adoring that little creature.
All unlocked pins and some freebies will be available as extra add-ons during checkout after you select a tier. You can add as many as you'd like with no limit.
Tiers will be adjusted as pins get unlocked as well, and you will be able to switch your tiers at any point up until card charging occurs (which is once the campaign ends and during the survey.)
As usual, these are not the only pins I have made in the past, and to surprise you, a lot of my work includes insects! I will be offering my past insect pins as add-ons for this campaign too! These pins are available on my Etsy store as normal, but adding them to your pledge means they will be shipped together once the campaign items are made, not earlier. If you wish to order my past pins and have them arrive asap, please do not purchase them through Backerkit.
Some older pins I am either sold out of or have very low stock of too, so this will be reflected in the add-on store.
For this campaign I will be encouraging group orders if you're outside the EU.
Details on shipping and import taxes/tariffs are covered below under the shipping sections. Because of this massive change to shipments to the USA, I will be making the process for group orders as streamlined as I can.
Which means there will be extra tiers for double the amount of pins, as well as whole pin sets you can just grab and not worry about if you, your friends or family, all want pins from this campaign.
While currently my shipping provider hasn't been charging tariffs on US orders, this could change at any moment as the postal systems are extremely volatile. I highly encourage group orders with friends that can lower the cost of potential tariffs where you can distribute the pins to each other domestically rather than paying the high cost of shipping on each individual package!
!! Partner collab and Science League freebies will not be counted in multiples on these group tiers as I can't verify the validity of everyone in the group order backing all other projects. It will be one freebie for the order !!
I will preface that I am currently working a full-time contract that ends in February, so progress will be slow on this campaign! I do not want myself to rush this project and create sub-par art. The current art shown in the promo images are mock-ups and NOT the final artwork which will be submitted for pin-making. I will be cleaning it up and making sure that it looks nice and has correct symmetrical dimensions.
I will also be making samples of these first, so I will leave ample time for those to be produced.
The timeline may change at any time! But I will update everyone if that is the case

I have some health-related plans for around February-March which will put me out of commission for a few weeks too, so I will be giving myself extra time during that period. Concrete news on this will be posted as soon as I know exact dates.

USA TARIFFS
Using a new shipping provider, tariffs seem to be covered. HOWEVER, in case you may be asked to pay for tariffs it will be through your email.
How it works: - I use the email you provide in the survey that is monitored by you at all times. - I send the package out. - An Post/Evri MIGHT send you an EMAIL on how to proceed with paying the tariff. - You have 5 days to pay. - If you do not pay the tariff, the mail is returned to me. And I will have to charge shipping again if you want it reshipped.

The cost of the tariffs is calculated as follows: (ITEM COST + SHIPPING) x 15% = TARIFF CHARGE + ADMIN FEE = TOTAL IMPORT FEE
The admin fee tends be about $9.50 per mail. This may change once the campaign ends.
PO BOXES ARE NOT ACCEPTED BY MY SHIPPING PROVIDER. IT WILL GET RETURNED AND I WILL HAVE TO ASK FOR A NEW ADDRESS AND FOR YOU TO COVER THE SHIPPING FEE AGAIN.

SHIPPING PRICES
Orders with two pins or less WILL BE UNTRACKED!
These prices are ESTIMATES. Prices may change if the postal service decides to increase prices at any moment and depends on how many pins you order. Small amount of pins will be shipped in bubble mailers, and larger amount of pins will be shipped in large envelope cardboard boxes. If you're buying flat items (stickers, prints) they will be shipped in standard stamped mail.
NOTE: SHIPPING IS CHARGED SEPARATELY AFTER THE CAMPAIGN IS OVER.

You will receive a survey once the campaign ends where you'll have to pick your pins of choice according to your pledge. If you have any questions or changes like your address that need to be made please tell me know ASAP.
FORFEIT OF REWARDS
If you do not fulfil your survey by the time shipping is complete and do not respond to messages, you will forfeit your pledge and reward. This includes failed card charges.
FREEBIES
You will only receive freebies if you pledge equal or over the cost of one pin. This means that the tip jar, or a single sticker order do not count for receiving freebies.
GRADING
All pins will be graded for any errors and mistakes. Please note that all pins are handmade and may have minor cosmetic imperfections even at A-grade status. You will receive A grade pins from this campaign to the best of my inspecting abilities.
RISKS & CHALLENGES
I have previous experience with making enamel pins, so I am familiar with the process and am in touch with my manufacturers before the campaign launched. There is always possibility of things being delayed on the manufacturers end, or the postal service being delayed during inspection. If there are any delays I will post frequent updates. There is always a possibility that there may be a major flaw in the pins, in which case they may need to be remade, this may also cause delays. However, I will do my best to update everyone on the process of the pins.
The current sphere regarding shipping is uncertain, however I am keeping a watchful eye on the situation and will keep everyone updated if anything changes.
