Welcome to Meowshrooms, a silly little enamel pin collection featuring nature‘s most overpowered combination of creatures: Cats and mushrooms! (Whether these are just cats with funny hats or a real strange phenomenon is a secret)

There are two sub-collections in this project: one features colorful mushrooms, one for each color of the rainbow so they make a gorgeous color gradient. The other one is more earth-toned, featuring a family of culinary mushrooms with a big portobello as the mom and a bunch of mini pins as the kittens.

Here‘s some samples - these are NOT the final product yet, as some gradients and colors will get tweaked still. But I wanted to have something to show you the pearl effects and UV gradients. Scroll down to the goals section to see the final designs.

How to pledge for pins: Pins will be available in pledge tiers and in add-ons. The base price for one pin is 15€ and each additional pin from the add-ons is discounted to 14€. Pledge tiers with multiple items are also discounted. The pledge tiers offer a greater discount than the add-ons, so pick the highest tier that is suitable for you and add everything else from the add-ons.

Please pledge for all pins that you want as early as you can, as we will likely unlock them all anyways!

After 10k, we don‘t unlock more pins anymore, but instead make the free goodie bag for everyone bigger and bigger! I‘ll keep drawing cute (or unhinged) stickers featuring all the meowshrooms and keep you updated :)
… well I lied! We are doing one more stretch goal:

You can pledge for the whole set of filler mushrooms by pledging 1x Regular Pin. If we don‘t unlock this during the campaign, we will try to unlock it in the pledge manager.

Additionally to pins, there are some goodies to be picked up at a small discount compared to their usual price! They are unlocked right from the start.

As a special thanks for all crowdfunders I am going to make a bundle of digital files for each item available in the campaign! Every pin you pick comes with its own bundle of digital files, including emotes/stickers and printable stationery. The lanyard and washi tape come with the repeating pattern of the meowshrooms and all stickers come with a printable variant of the file. No commercial license granted, only personal use.
Many of the files are still a WIP and the bundle will be ready by the time of fulfillment. Bundle is not sold separately, the item+bundle deal is exclusive to the campaign until after the campaign.

For those of you who are new to crowdfunding, let me quickly run down how it works! While the campaign is active, you can choose your pledge tier and any add-ons and only pay after the campaign. You will not be charged if the campaign is not successful. And while the campaign runs, you are free to change or cancel your pledge as you wish!

- You get the pins earlier than most - it takes a good while before they go in my online shop and may be sold out for a while after the campaign!

If you don't want to pay your full pledge right when the campaign ends but still want all rewards, you can use Backerkit's Pay over time feature. It's a interest-free payment plan, divided into four payments! It‘s only available for payments over the equivalent of 150 USD, which is at the time of writing 130 Euros.

Please note that:
- The survey will only become available to you after your payment is completed
- No refunds on partial payments
- Your reward will only ship once the payment is complete.
I will order enough of all pins and other add-ons so that there will be no disadvantage for the late pledgers. 

January-February: Campaign Runs
February: First Payment is collected. Surveys are being sent.
- Once 80% of surveys are completed, I will place my order with my manufacturer
- Orders will lock at that point too.
- First payment just covers the pledge+add-on value, not shipping
March-June: Manufacturing
June-July: Second Payment, Fulfillment
- The second payment covers shipping and if applicable, taxes
- If you made extra purchases through the survey, those will be charged too

Keep in mind that delays can happen in manufacturing! Please don‘t bank on your pins arriving by a certain date.
I am doing my best to plan generously and factor in some time for possible delays caused by manufacturing issues (e.g. having to re-do a batch due to failing quality control or shipments being held in customs etc). Also for many pins the mold is already made and the proofing process is done, so that should minimize the risk for delays too. 

Shipping is charged after the campaign. They are not included in the pledge levels / add-ons.
These shipping rates are valid as per time of the campaign, and most likely will be accurate. So far I never had to adjust them.

Germany: 5€ (order includes VAT)
EU: 8€ (order includes VAT)
Non-EU Europe: 8€ (import fees are up to you)
USA (mainland): 12€ + tariff (see next section)
USA (AK, HI, PR, VI): 14€ + tariff (see next section)
Rest of the world: 10-12€ (import fees are up to you)

I'm shipping with your tariffs pre-paid, that's why you will pay a bit extra after the campaign. Since your pledges and add-ons consist of both a physical reward and a digital one, only the shippable, physical reward is tariffed.

Expect about 0.5-1€ per pin and a few cents per other merchandise item at the time of writing. 

This is a crowdfunding project and as such, there may be some challenges on the way. Please do familiarize yourself with the risks before pledging!

Delays
I have sketched out a timeline that is generously factoring in a certain amount of delays already. Ideally, we should always be ahead of that timeline, but that being said, the opposite could still happen since a lot can happen in the manufacturing and shipping process.

Design Changes
All images provided are design mock-ups. They will not perfectly translate 1:1 into the real product in color, line thickness and other minor details, but I am doing my best to provide the manufacturers all the info they need to make it as accurate as possible.

Funds
There is no risk of the funds running out to the point of endangering the fulfillment of this project. I am committed to this project and if the raised funds are not sufficient, I will pay the difference out of pocket.

Quality Issues
Lastly, there is a risk of the manufacturer providing poor quality pins. Most pins do have some minor imperfections but they are usually not very visible, the rate of pins with more visible flaws can range from 5%-20% usually. In order to offset this, I will make sure to order at least 50% more pins than needed, so that there will be enough high quality pins for everyone who pledged. 

Here's some fineprint - please read carefully! By backing the project, you agree to these terms.

- Keep an eye on the campaign updates while it is running. Check especially near the end of the campaign if your wanted designs are unlocked and if there have been any important announcements that may change your mind about what to pledge for. I assume that you read it. Missing an update will not be a valid reason to refund you after the campaign ends.
- Fill your survey out in time. Generally, filling out your surveys a few weeks later is no problem as I order enough pieces of everything to cover for that, but filling out your survey months too late can mean that I don’t have everything on hand anymore as regular sales of the items will have begun.

- Double-check your address and especially make sure to change it if you move between your initial survey response and the fulfillment! Backerkit will send you an email when the addresses will lock.
- Check your payment status. Both payments need to go through (pledge + shipping) in order for me to ship something to you. If your second payment fails and you dont fix it, your first one will be considered a donation.

Since all funds are being used to ensure the production process, I reserve the right to decline refunds after the campaign ends, especially after production begins.

During the campaign, you can modify and cancel your pledge anytime. Additional add-ons made through the survey can be modified until the orders lock. Please spend responsibly and use these features instead of letting yourself get charged and then getting a refund.

For American backers, tariff is charged together with your shipping cost.
For Germans and EU citizens, VAT is included in your pledge.
For everyone else, the import fees are up to you at arrival.

All designs are subject to minor changes, either due to the artist‘s judgement or due to manufacturing issues.
