Get Ready for SerpentScale

Serpentscale is an epic boss-battling board game for 1-3 players set in a fantasy world where Rune lords and their Rune serpents stand in your way.

The game offers a unique mix of exploration and combat, with powerful relics to uncover as well as intense battles against colossal enemies and mythical beasts. Explore, strategize, and customize your character as you connect and flip cards over 120 cards to reveal the next step of your journey.

Players take on the role of adventurers seeking Rune Stones, battling legendary foes, and uncovering the secrets of a world filled with arcane weapons and powerful runic spells. Play solo, team up with friends, or compete to prove your skill in this massive, interconnected adventure.

                      The first step is to join the environment cards to form
                      a connecting landscape.

Then, starting on the bottom left, the player can flip any adjacent card, revealing part of an enemy, item, weapon or armor.

If an enemy is revealed, you must fight them by rolling dice.
To attack, roll a D6 and try to guess the outcome. A correct guess will you land a hit, and you can remove one of the enemies health crystals. Each weapon uses different dice and varies in attack damage and accuracy.

If you reveal an item, weapon, or armor, you may roll to see if you pick it up. You will often have a choice between multiple options - do you need a shield for extra defense? Or do you choose the powerful spell book with limited uses? 

Repeat!
After you defeat all of the enemies in one area, you have successfully cleared it and can move on to the next region. But it's not as easy as it sounds.

In the Deluxe Edition, you will also get a guidebook - hints about which where to go first, combat tips, additional lore about each character and detailed info about each item. 

In the Legendary Edition, you can also choose a custom metal card of any Rune lord or Serpent - along with a custom message or signature!
