One of the benefits for backers in those tiers is that they will be thanked in the finished book. By default, this will use the name from your BackerKit profile, but if you want it to be displayed differently in the book, please let us know below!

The time has officially come and Mausritter Month is over!
And boy oh boy! What a ride has been.
Hugh and I will send out a more detailed update in the days to come but wanted to take a couple moments this evening to say thank you to the 631 backers who made this happen!

I wanted to show off some of the sticker illustrations for Mechritter in more detail. My favourite is the Park Trash one because I love the little water bottle helmet. Which one is yours?
Don't forget anyone who backs the project at any physical tier gets access to all the sticker sets we produce!
I got the printed flyers and booklets, and now it's time to pack them into bundles. Some need to be folded to insert more pieces. Then the extra pop-up card and the booklet are added. Finally, a paper banderole holds everything together. That means everything has to pass through my hands again, and that takes some time. But we're still on time for the group shipment. 140 bundles are ready now; there are just a few missing. I can't wait to get it shipped to the fulfillment partner!
As mentioned in the previous update the Pledge Manager Surveys will be closing today Friday June 5th. You will receive a notice shortly that you have 48 hours to make any changes before your surveys are locked.
We will then send out a 48 hour notice on Monday June 8th before cards on file are charged for any add-ons and shipping fees.

All of the items I backed that are included in the combined pledge manager are digital, but it says I will be charged almost $13 for shipping. I did not back enough projects for the meeples. What is being shipped out?

Shipping Costs
You should have received a Backerkit form by now, which includes shipping costs. Flights of Fancy is part of the Mausritter Month Discounted Group Shipping. For those of you who backed multiple projects, this is a great deal. For those who just backed Flights of Fancy, especially those from the Netherlands, you will have noticed that the shipping costs are higher than that of our previous projects Feathertail Falls and Incarnis. This is because distribution is now handled professionally abroad. Whereas in our previous projects I posted everything from my home. Locally, you can't beat that price. It's possible that you did not account for these shipping costs when backing this project.

Timeline
We have been working hard to get everything near-ready.
Flight rules: did you see that the flight rules were shared for backers only in our last update?
Main adventures: 2/3 nearly finished (I only need to change some text). We are starting illustration on the last adventure this week.
Guest adventures: 2/3 guest adventures finished. The third one is almost done.
Exclusive backer rewards: these are all underway as well.
Here's the plan for the coming two months.
June: finish all content.
Eearly July: print.
Late July: send physical backer rewards to Exalted Funeral (US distribution) and Games Omnivorous (non-US distribution).
Early August: share digital rewards.
Tears of the Rainbow
Tears of the Rainbow is the second Flights of Fancy adventure by Max and myself. It asks; what if there was a family-friendly dating-sim inspired Mausritter adventure? Noone asked this question, but we have the answer for you! This adventure is all about forming friendships with the cloud fairies, and the repercussions if the tensions between these strong personalities continue to escalate. Sparks are flying and a storm is coming!
The Backerkit survey finally launched and I ordered the printed versions now. Last week I received some print test to check if the paper quality is still the same like last year. If it´s too shiny and glossy the glue will not stick, and the popup dungeon will not be very stable. To test it I assembled stinkcity one more time and I completely lost track one how many times I build Stinkcity.
The paper tests came out nice, and hopefully the printed version will come out good too. If everything is delivered to me, I will need to pack every piece into one big package. But I´m optimistic that everything is done in June.
For backers in the UK and EU, your rewards are still en route! Several cases of games were shipped by our friends at Heart of the Deernicorn to our fulfillment partner Peregrine Coast Press in Leeds, UK. The team at PCP is currently getting ready for the UK Gaming Expo, but after that they will be packing the books up and shipping them to you. I know this extra step adds several weeks to the transport time, but this process allows us to deal with EU regulations and taxes. This means you shouldn't get hit with extra fees when you pick up your packages!
For backers everywhere else, you should have received your books by now. I hope you enjoy the adventure!
