Project Update: Lemurs, Dragons, and Dinosaurs!
We only have eight more days before the campaign launches and we have three new companions to share!
- Deinonychus: We hope he'll roar into your hearts faster than we can learn how to spell Deinonychus.
- Pseudodragon: Shoulder dragon? Absolutely.
- Lemur: Rumors of the Lemur stealing food and coins have been greatly exaggerated.
The only companion we're missing right now is the snake, which will be revealing soon. We'll also be introducing you this week to our amazing cross-collab partner. Make sure to follow the campaign so you can get all of the updates and be there for launch day on June 16th.

Project Update: ☆ Series Spotlight ☆ Dungeon Crawler Carl
Alright next up is DCC. Behold Donut and Mongo;
At 2.5", this is a large size pin design. It will not be in the standard pin selection pool, so make sure that you choose a pledge tier that includes a large size pin, or pick it up separately from the add-on store. It will be hard enamel with gold plating, and several screen print layers (mostly on the feathers and Donut herself, plus some shading). This pin is unlocking at the initial funding goal. Right now this is the only large size pin in this campaign, but that might change. They do take a lot of time.
Whew. This might be the most complicated design I've ever done. Mongo's colouring is based on the lilac-breasted roller; mostly I just looked for birds with both green and pink feathers and went for a colour combo I could work with. I don't think the book specified beyond that. And yes... I know the gear isn't 100% on point. There was no way I could do scale or chain mail at this size.
We do also have a standard size DCC pin;
I'm gonna be real with you here - its an incredibly tepid spoiler and if you care much about spoilers, its just going to make you want to read the book more. Its going to be a 2" standard size, hard enamel with screen print and gold plating. It will be in the standard pin selections, and unlocks at tier 5.
I highly recommend this series but dear lord check the content warnings first. Actually I kind of recommend checking the content warnings for future books as well, nothing worse than getting three books into a series and then finding a deal breaker. Someone said describing the plot is like listening to a toddler make up a story on the spot and they're not wrong, but it somehow turns into a scathing commentary on late stage capitalism, violent protest and reality media that is incredibly relevant right now. Also it made me cry and nothing does that these days.
Anyway I know its not quite in line with nostalgic media but I cannot tell you how many Donut requests I've had in the last few weeks so here we are ~
