 Born on the mean streets of New York and schooled in the slums of Brooklyn, Eric is the son of an advertising executive of the Mad Men era. Refusing to follow in the sellout family footsteps, Eric left home at 18 to forge his own path of poverty and struggle, seeking life experience fodder for his writing. After a string of menial jobs ranging from electrician assistant in the subzero wastes of upstate New York to a brief stint as a Carvel Ice Cream cake painter in Guido-rich New Jersey, Eric took a job building giant satellite dishes on US embassies and consulates across South & Central America, the Caribbean, Asia, and Oceania. After being shot at in El Salvador, tear-gassed (also in El Salvador), receiving death threats in Colombia from the DEA agents that the show "Narcos" was about, and having a nervous breakdown in Mexico City, he retired from embassy work. He then spent 20 years in the neurotic world of commercial casting in Los Angeles. He now has plenty to write about.

Welcome to my Backerkit! Who am I? Hi, I’m Akitaya Ayano, a passionate artist from Germany, specializing in Manga and Anime art. What am I working at? I’m also working on my own exciting Fantasy Light Novel series, bringing a huge magical world and absolutely unforgettable Animal Characters to life! I would be thrilled if you supported my writing project - because with your help, it could become reality as soon as beginning of next year! My Light Novel will be professionally edited, and with enough support, I could even bring it to an international audience. Since the original version is in German, a full English translation could be made possible with your backing!  As a dedicated fan of anime culture, I create high-quality enamel pins too - from fanart-inspired designs to a huge upcoming collection based on my own Light Novel universe. CE Murphy is the author of over sixty books in a wide variety of genres, ranging from SFF to cozy mysteries to paranormal romance, plus some other stuff along the way. Born and raised in Alaska, she now lives in Ireland with her family.

Christophor has been playing RPGs since a friend introduced him to D&D in 1979-80. Since then he has gone on to play as many RPGs as he could with his favorites being D&D, Gamma World, Gaslands, Dungeon Crawl Classics, Mutant Crawl Classics, Call of Cthulhu and Star Wars Edge of the Empire. His first credit in an RPG was at Gen Con 12 or 13 as a playtester for someone else's RPG. Since then he has gone on to write for others as a freelancer, write his own stuff as a solo creator and as the creative force behind 2 Old Guys Games.  As The Kids DM he has used his streamlined 5e system to teach over 100 kids (6+) and over 50 adults how to play RPGs to help grow the hobby. 

We're a family business that started 4 years ago with the idea of creating a remake of the Rider-Waite tarot deck without Photoshop, featuring real people in authentic costumes and actual locations. We wanted to preserve the original symbolism of the Rider-Waite deck as closely as possible, bringing it to life on film without any retouching. And we did it. Over the past 4 years, we've released two more decks, and new artists, programmers, and psychologists have joined our team. As a result, the project has grown into something much larger. Now, our goal is not just to create new decks but also to develop an app that helps people get acquainted with the world of tarot and lesser-known custom decks. This is a vast world filled with incredibly talented individuals who are open to communication and creativity. Our aim now is to connect deck creators with their fans!
