Hi, I'm Elm! Or LM if we're being fancy. I've been writing stories for as long as I remember, but I published my first original story in 2021. I love writing stories with a heavy romance subplot (when I'm not writing romance) and all my stories are incredibly queer, diverse, and inclusive. I find inspiration in everything from video games like Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Back 4 Blood, Life Is Strange, Bloom & Rage, and Baulder's Gate and so much more. If you've read any of my books or seen some of my upcoming projects, I'm sure you can see some of these influences in the stories. My favourite kind of stories to write are the ones that deliver a good gut punch, explosions and of course a good amount of sweetness and spice. If you want to know more about me and my work check out my Instagram! @Author_LMJuniper

JENN LYONS lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband, her cat, and a nearly infinite number of opinions on anything from Sumerian mythology to the correct way to make a martini. She was nominated twice for the Astounding Award for Best New Writer (in 2020 and 2021) after a twenty-year career as a graphic artist and illustrator and a second career as a video game producer. Lyons traces her geek roots back to playing first edition Dungeons & Dragons in grade school – a hobby she’s continued as an adult—as well as whatever craft or skill she’s obsessed with this week: pyrography, beadwork, stenography, furniture upholstery, etc. All five books of Lyons’s five-book debut epic fantasy series, starting with The Ruin of Kings, as well as her stand-alone epic fantasy The Sky on Fire, are available from Tor Books.

CO-Creators Leigha Huggins and Heather Lean collaborate once again to bring another creative collective project to life!  With more ideas than time, we decided this was one worth making time for.  We believe when you take time to nourish something beyond thought, it starts to bring a beauty of life to life on it's own.  And we can't wait to watch this beautiful book take flight out of our minds and into the hearts of our artists ... creating a true work of art from the heart.   Creativity is an expression of anything you want, and I think ours ... is best described as an expression of love, art, wisdom, and words compiled into one simple read, hopefully leaving you with endless inspirational feelings.   I like to think we are creating more than a book with all the moving pieces and parts, as we create a win for several artists, a vision, a freedom of expression, and a connection of creativity from concept to reader, we hope you follow along to be part of the beauty we are encouraging to take flight.

Co Designer of Robin Hood and the Merry Men, Working at BackerKit and helping awesome creators make cool things. My next project is The Big Sea, a children's book designed as an aid for families facing difficult times.

A traditional illustrator at heart, my main themes focus on beasties, SPACE, and booze. (It's all pretty magical.) I love to lean into themed projects with multiple pieces rather than one-off singles, and prefer the feel of working with pencils and paints over digital tablets. You may recognize my past projects that feature both illustrations and pins: Drachtoberfest, SPAAAACE Witch! And you may have followed other collab projects such as "Mythical Monsters" hosted by Robot Dragon Studios, and Wild Advent hosted by Alstro Arts. (If you peek around my social media or Patreon you'll also find Godzilla: KING, Cosmos (A Spacetime Odyssey, and Possible Worlds), A Year of Mermaids, and Pinspirations. Here on Bakerkit is my latest enamel pin project that adds to the Drachtoberfest cast, themed on the other "beer" holiday outside of Oktoberfest, with themes of green and gold.
