Hey there! I'm Josh Rottman, and I run the business side of things at Neoclassical Games. My partner and I have been making tabletop RPG stuff for over ten years now—we're all about mixing the best parts of old-school gaming with the kind of storytelling that actually works at your table. Our main game, Neoclassical Geek Revival, is probably what we're best known for. It's pretty stripped down compared to a lot of modern systems, but that's on purpose. We wanted something with real tactical meat on its bones that doesn't take itself too seriously. There's definitely some dry humor baked in, because honestly, if you can't laugh at your hobby, what's the point? Now, I didn't just stumble into this. I've spent about 17 years managing projects in the corporate world, nonprofits, government—you name it. I've done everything from big tech rollouts to teaching teams how to work together better. That background shapes how we approach everything at Neoclassical. Sure, we plan our releases carefully and keep things organized, but we always leave room for the weird, creative stuff that makes RPGs special in the first place. When I'm not working on games, I'm probably playing them with my kids or thinking about how powerful it is when people sit around a table and create stories together. Every zine, module, or full game we put out is really about giving you better tools to make your group's adventures weirder, funnier, and more memorable. Begat of a tumultuous affair between a fomori and a leprechaun, Ian McGarty grew to enormous size in short time. After being gifted a small cache of first edition D&D and AD&D books to begin his leprechaun horde, Ian was fully immersed in the world of role playing. He has written for anyone daring enough to hire him and is one half of a happy business marriage with Jayson Rocky Gardner in Silver Bulette Publishing, the publisher of Fantastic Geographic, an OS multisystem RPG zine. He also dabbles in cartography and his maps can be found in products by Skeeter Green Productions, Frog God Games, Silver Bulette, Throwi Games, and DM’s Guild. He knocked off a bucket list item doing the maps for an Ed Greenwood book in Thay: Land of the Red Wizards. In his day gig, you can find him wrangling his kids on crazy adventures with his wife and working to provide speech pathology services to folks in need.

Nick is an award-winning illustrator from Boston, now living in Los Angeles. Mostly working in TV animation, Nick has helped design for shows like Midnight Gospel, Rick and Morty, The Mighty Ones, Invincible, and more. Co-founder and art director of Lay Waste Games, an indie board game publishing company that has produced some of the highest quality games since 2015. Nick enjoys a lot of things, like soda, dogs, and sports! Loves creators but hates when machines try to make art. His work can be seen here.

My work is a mix of monsters, creeps and anxiety filled weirdos - among other Beautiful and horrible ladies and Gents. I create paintings and illustrations that entice the viewer to look at the macabre in a whimsical light. Inspired by the supernatural, near death experiences and the ghosts that surround us. I utilizes my dreams, nightmares, and neuroses as my main point of inspiration, trying to create visions that are as real to me as anything else in our physical world. My work carries an element of playfulness, although I depict dark subject matter, I tend to instill a satirical component in my work, in hopes to convey the overall madness of the human condition. I don't consider himself mad. But I'm not afraid to leave people wondering.
