A member of NAZCA (the Northern Arizona Cartoonists Association), he is also the creative director of Studio Fugazi, and writes and produces the video podcast "This Got Made" with his puppet-creating wife Michele Snyder (Madshell's Monstrosities). Al likes coffee, pretending he can play guitar, and looks forward to having this thing called free time when he can actually read comics instead of just making them. David “Dave” Beaty is an award-winning and New York Times best-selling comic book artist. His career began with the groundbreaking 3-D / Digitally painted comic book series Stargodz in 1997. As an artist, he also helped set the Guinness World Record for the fastest time to produce a comic book in 2014 (Amazing Arizona Comicon, Phoenix, AZ on January 25, 2014). He worked for Marvel, DC Comics, Antarctic Press, Dabel Brothers, BOOM Studios, and countless Independent Publishers. He has been published as a Penciler, Inker, and Colorist on titles including X-men: Sword of the Braddocks, Batman Incorporated, Justice League of America, Grifter, Brightest Day, Flashpoint Wonder Woman, Mister Terrific, and IVampire just to name a few. He has worked with some of the biggest writers in the medium including Stan Lee, Chris Claremont, Geoff Johns, Mark Waid, James Robinson, and Grant Morrison. Everyone has a fairy tale dream, every bedtime story brings a memorable childhood, warm, sweet, and full of love. Three art-major dads established Howcat Studio, studied children's favorite fairy tales, combined with the most popular education model, and created popular 3D assembly toys for children.

Amy wrote her first book, Albert the Bee, in grade school. From there, it was onto Hollywood, where she worked for 20th Century Fox, Warners, etc. and then went on to attend the Clarion West SFF Workshop. Her novel about the Brontes is an Amazon Kindle Scout winner, and she's been a Chanticleer finalist 3 times and a BookFest Fantasy winner three times. Amy has an honors degree in English from the University of London, and tutors kids of all ages in writing & college test prep. She's originally from L.A. but moved to Seattle where it's taken her 10 years to get used to the rain.

Becca graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a BFA in Illustration. Her comics and illustration credits include work for BOOM! Studios, Valiant Entertainment, IDW Publishing, Lion Forge, Marvel Entertainment, and Fantasy Flight Games. Most recently, she completed the interior art and cover for the First Test Graphic Novel adaptation, published by Random House Graphic in July 2024. She was half of the production team on the visual novel Seventh Circle, where she was responsible for the majority of the artwork and visual design. She has also completed several large-scale Kickstarter campaigns, including the Pride Check! enamel pin campaign which received over 2000% percent funding and widespread acclaim. She currently resides in Wisconsin, where she takes too many pictures of her dog Finn, and has a habit of drawing until her hand falls off.

It is run by a married couple; Anthony is a disabled queer jew and a community art project organizer, and Janet is an aspiring game developer and project/shipping/business manager for their small business.
