Amara Lynn has always been a quiet daydreamer. Coming up with characters and worlds since childhood, they eventually found an outlet in writing. They were born and raised in the Midwest USA, where they remain stuck with their spouse and cats. They love to write about soft monsters and cryptids, grumpy enbies, and forever will be weak for the grumpy one is soft for the sunshine one trope. When not writing, they are usually watching anime, playing games, and obsessing over their out of control music playlists. 

The duo behind Ink and Gore Games is Alex and Sandra. Alex is a TTRPG enthusiast of 5+ years and a fan of brutal old-school games. He creates the gritty, doom-soaked content for the tabletop and is the chief author and the creator of Toon Morgue. Sandra is an illustrator and art director, overseeing graphic design, and the refinement of the text to bring each project to life. Together, we’re currently working on a rubber hose–style 3rd party project compatible with Mörk Borg, with plans to design our own system in the future

Hi! Joe Foner here, I live in Southcentral PA, in the same area I grew up. I've been around games most of my life; playing games as a young child, re-writing rules when I got bored, making a game suggestion that prompted my dad's first game design, making my first formal game adaptation, working at my dad's game store (and running games there and at his mini-conventions), designing games in high school and after, and continuing to play all through adulthood. Games are a great tool for connecting people, and a way to exercise the mind, and that's the two biggest things I get out of them.  I grew up playing stuff like Dungeons & Dragons, Talisman, Civilization, Junta, Uno, Scrabble, Othello, Boggle, just a wide variety of games.  My goal with crowdfunding is to see if I can do this as more than a hobby. I have at least a dozen designs sitting around, and my plan is to slowly develop or re-develop those games (or ideas), playtest them, and try to get them to a larger audience through get-togethers, conventions, crowdfunding, and other means.  My designs tend to run old-school, with boards, dice, cards, and pawns. I still think there's some value in that way of game design. But the fun will in playtesting them, listening to ideas, troubleshooting, and adjusting them where possible for the present-day player. Or more importantly, to just make them the best games they can be, ones that people enjoy playing. Seeing people having a good time playing my games is the best reward.
