Just a quick update to let you know that most backers have completed their reward survey. If you haven't, please complete the survey as soon as possible. I'm in the process of locking orders as they come in. Once an order is locked, you'll be able to access your digital rewards. Everyone should be able to access them by Saturday.
This weekend is when the print editions will be ordered. They should arrive now later than the end of November. My goal is to have all print editions to you before December 1st.

Once again, thank you for supporting Sherlock Holmes: Mistletoe Mysteries on Backerkit. I'm happy to report that the reward surveys have been sent out. I've set the surveys to close on October 30th. At that point, everyone should have received their digital downloads of the eBook. After the surveys close, the books will be shipped to you. As planned, as long as there aren't any delivery issues, everyone should have their rewards no later than the end of November.

Hi everyone! Surveys officially went out this morning. With the surveys, you can add products to your pledges if you wish. :)
At the end of the month, when all the surveys are in, I'll give the green light to the printer for the books to be printed. It typically takes 3 months, and I intentionally added in extra time with the mid-February shipping estimate in case of delays because of the winter holidays.

In the final 24 hours the campaign hit that stretch goal for 8 additional pages in the book. Thank you all so much!! I can't wait have these books in my hands. Backers are being charged right now. I am seeing a handful of failed charges. That always happens for various reasons. Be sure to login to Backerkit and check your pledge.
It usually takes about 2 weeks for all the charges and deposits to finish up.
I will send out surveys in late October. Surveys help me finalize the number of books I will order. My base funding was for 200 books but I may order more!

I've had a few people ask if I'll be offering Feather & Stone as an ebook. The answer is No. I know. We live in a digital age where everything is available on our tablets and phones. But Feather & Stone is a chapbook. That is a specific type of physical book. It's not meant to be seen through a screen. You are suppose to experience it with your senses, not be removed from it. Also, I'd rather it not be immediately scanned by AI. I say immediately because we know the chances are high it will be anyways. But this is something I can control for a short time and it will be better for your eyes and your heart.

I'm currently making my final edit of the manuscript and, as promised, the book will be ready for you to read on December 1st. I'm on track to get you the book (at least in digital form) by the end of October. All or almost all of you should have the print edition before December 1st. Well, it didn't just end. It ended Thursday afternoon but I didn't say anything then because I figured you'd heard enough from me already. Over the weekend, we all relaxed and did normal things. I did a bookfair in southern Minnesota.
Anyway, the campaign is over! We're now busily working towards lining up all the work necessary to get the first issue printed in early January and then keep up that pace for the rest of the year.

Payment has gone through on the majority of backers but there are a few of you who need to either update their payment method or add a payment method. Along with that, the Pledge Manager will be going out shortly so you can confirm your subscription, add your address, grab any additional add ons and so on.

There has been a lot going on around the studio with Dragon Con and Fan-X being this month. I haven't had much down time. However I have found a tiny bit of time to work on the potential stretch goals for this project, including working up the map, chapter headers and potential coin designs.

There is still a little bit to go so I hope you will share this project and tell your friends about it. We are in the final stretch with 67 hours left and I'd love to have this project fund.
