It's been a little bit since the last update, and I apologize for the delay. There has been a lot going on behind the scenes.
 
Since the last update, I have been slowly shipping out the dragons (and I know many of you have your pins now!).
The process has been slow due to the ongoing changes in cross-border shipping rules and constant changes to the tariff charges.

Unfortunately, the last batch of shipments was paused during the border crossing preparation, and all from that shipment were returned to me after a very, very long delay.

Note: If your pledge says shipped but you have not received it, it most likely has been in that batch and is returned to me. I will be reaching out in the coming week to all of these backers, but please contact me if you have any concerns in the meantime.

After doing some investigating, it seems to have been a bit of confusion from both the customs end and my own. Without going too deep into the details, the invoices available via the pledges information and reciepts were rejected. I was warned that this could become an ongoing issue due to the continued uncertainty with new rules and tariffs, so I paused shipping while researching and until I found a solution to the problem.

I am now in talks with a fulfillment centre, which I am planning to use moving forward.

What does this mean for your pledges?
They are still coming! I am pausing US shipping while I work through this with the fullfilment center, but will notify you all as soon as they are back in motion again. We are working hard to get this moving as fast as possible.

I'm not located in the US, so does this affect me?
While I have shipped out the majority of non-US shipments already, there are a few that have yet to be shipped out. When this shipping pause occured, I had chosen to halt all shipments while sorting it out. But any non-US orders that haven't shipped yet will be moving again this coming week.

What if I need to change my shipping address?
You can still do so! Please feel free to contact me anytime about unlocking your address.

Will this affect new campaigns going forward?
I will be moving fully to using the fulfillment centre for US orders on any current and future campaigns. With this in mind, all future campaigns will have significantly fewer delays. While it will be more costly on my end, I feel that this is the correct move considering all the continuous changes to cross-border shipments and will ensure all of you get your packages more smoothly, which is the most important thing. 

I am sorry for the delay in this message to you all. I truly wanted to have a better grasp on what was happening, and know what would happen next before I sent out any panic messages. This last month has been a lot of sleepless nights and stress while working towards a solution, and I'm so relieved that we are moving towards one now.

My most important goal is getting all these pins to you safely. And we are almost there, despite the delays! 
Once I have sent the remaining pins to the fulfillment centre, I will update once more.

Yay, we did it! All rewards have shipped out!

Everyone should have received a shipping notification or their rewards. I'm so happy to be able to get Bandit and Iris into everyone's hands early and hope they are SO loved!

There are still a few backers with declined cards -- as a reminder, you have until October 10 to correct your payment, otherwise any amounts paid are considered a donation and your pledge will be cancelled. 

Thank you all for your support, we couldn't have created these wonderful new Dream Guardians without you!

With fulfillment complete, Bandit and Iris are listed on the website and available to order, so if you have a friend who wants to adopt, let them know!

We have a few more projects we're working on behind the scenes, so stay tuned for more information coming soon.

Just a reminder: Void Dragon Orders will be locking and charging on Monday September 21st!  We're anxiously awaiting the arrival of the dragon horde.  Tracking has not updated, so they haven't reached port yet, but we're hoping they will arrive beginning of October. 

On the Star Fawn front, we are happy to say Star Fawn's tail is now fixed and she is ready to ship from the factory to us! 

We paid for faster shipping on her, so hopefully she will arrive mid to end of October.  As such, we plan to lock and charge Star Fawn orders October 5th.

With much anticipation, the ravenous hoard has arrived! They rode in their very own Fedex truck. We’ve never had such a big delivery all at once!

After 70 boxes swiftly piled on in, they are now sitting happily stored away. We knew this day was coming, but we are getting clever about how we manage the inventory. Seventy boxes take up a lot of room!

That’s a lotta dragons!

They did come in squished tightly together and do need some fluffing out. But so far, they all look great!

In this day and age a lot goes into importing a plush like this. We made sure to have them tested for ages 3+ and to make sure that the magnet design in the smaller plush was safe for children. Shipping charges were also much higher than expected. It’s been quite the ride! 

Most of the pins have arrived!

A few of the pins are still finishing up production. But they should be shipping to us within the next few weeks!

At this stage we are working on determining final shipping costs of the plush before updating that part of the pledge manager. As it turns out, 2 lb of pins does not take up the same amount of space as 2 lb of plushie dragons. So we’re still locking that part down. That said we expect to update the pledge manager shipping details soon!

We can’t wait till these guys can flap their tiny wings and make their way to their cozy new homes!

Greetings Hoarders,

I just wanted to touch base about some questions that arose from the survey.

These were "automatically" added to qualifying carts; however, you might not see them when you complete the survey.

I have double-checked; they are there. Because I didn't link them to a SKU during the campaign (it only exists for returning backer/early bird/reservation pins etc.), collaboration rewards had to be manually added through creating segments (Since these numbers are only known post-campaign). Backerkit staff informed me that this means you won't see them, but they are there!

This is what I see for the packing list:

Some of you may have noticed an item that says "upgrades" when you complete the survey. These are the pins added during the survey.

You see "upgrades", I see the actual SKU:

Unfortunately my US backers have to pay tariffs and will see those in their carts. Tariffs are calculated per item based on value, where they are manufactured, item type, and estimated arrival date in the US since it's variable and can change on a whim. Which means each item has different rules and rates (setting it up is a headache). What this means is that unfortunately even of you backed multiple campaigns with me, even if I shipped it together, it won't lower the cost. I wish I could do this, but this is something out of my control.

I miss the free-trade agreement.
