THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! I appreciate each one of you! 

Surveys are starting this week. (Smoke test.) So you may or may not get one this week. A smoke test is when I send it to a few random backers just to ensure I haven't made any errors in my survey or created confusing questions. If I make a mistake, I usually get great feedback before I send it to everyone.

If you're new to crowdfunding, surveys are where you add in your address for physical tiers and emails for digital rewards. Please fill this out as soon as possible. It helps me calculate shipping better!

Also, if you missed items in the actual campaign, I've added a few add-ons that you can add to your cart if you so desire at the end of the survey. 

Timeline from here: surveys will finish by the end of October. Here in the US, we hit the holiday season in November. I hope everyone will enjoy the time with family and friends. Come January, I'll start ordering books. This takes a while. I send the files to the printer. They send me a proof copy. I approve it. They send more. I am hoping this won't take more than a few months to get everything shipped out, but sometimes unexpected things come up that we can't plan for. If so, I'll communicate here on the Updates.

Ebooks will go out first. Then paperbacks, then case laminate, then the clothbound. I will keep you updated on the next steps as we go forward. I'm super excited for you to read and enjoy this fun story!

What happens next?

Next, Funding Period. Backerkit will charge cards. Be sure to update payment. I'll be working on the survey which should be going out in about two weeks. PLEASE fill out the survey ASAP! My backers have always been so good about this!

Over the holidays--November through New Year-- I'll be working on creating all the merchandise and printing the books overseas!

Shipping will not be charged until closer to shipping time in March! You'll have to return here and approve shipping costs. I will have a better update on costs, but I'm sure it will be about the same as the shipping table estimates.

Fulfillment timeline:
Ebooks will be first. Early 2027
Paperbacks next. Spring 2027
Then the laminate and clothbound. Late spring 2027

Stay tuned here because I will still be asking poll questions for certain things. 

Likely, I'll skip doing any projects on Backerkit in 2027 for the Stitchbinding Chronicles and do the next duet together set in Mori in one crowdfunding campaign in 2028. So stay tuned!

I will be doing a Kickstarter next year for a portal fantasy about two sisters who open a portal to a dream world called Quixotica to seek what they love the most. My cover designer is working on the cover right now!

We're in the final stretch, all! Printopia and all associated book campaigns, including this one, wraps up in less than 48 hours. (Which you know because you already got a dozen emails today, and I'm adding another).

This is another full-length duet that picks up where the Hacking Wonderland books leave off, but... well... I can't say more without spoiling it. It is its own story though.

I have the results of the incentive polls. Digital rewards beat out physical by a vote. So this is what I'm going to do:

If we reach 50 Backers by the end the of the campaign, I'll do a special reading of the first two chapters on a private YouTube link.

If we fund at $1500 by the end of the campaign I'll add a chibi water bottle sticker to the physical tiers.

We've unlocked the second stretch goal: a behind the scenes tour of the bookmark versions for Storm at Raven's Nest.

Originally, I considered not doing a bookmark at all for this one but doing a little raven window light catcher thing instead:

Sticking with the stained-glass effect theme, I next tried out a bookmark with a nicely gothic raven design:

However, ultimately I decided to go with the same bookmark designer who has created bookmarks for my previous campaigns this year. She uses a ribbon-and-charms theme, that way all the bookmarks for my books in 2026 have a similar bookmark look, and I think it turned out fabulously.

So that's a behind-the-scenes look at my process for the Raven's Nest bookmark selection (which originally wasn't going to be a bookmark at all). 

Next stretch goal will unlock when the campaign passes $1,800. If you're watching and thinking of jumping in and backing the campaign, now's a great time to do that! You can bring us past the next campaign stretch goal.
