Sorry for the delay. Here are the photos of the pins! I'm very glad to say they are all looking good!
This also means that shipping will now start! Please note that shipping will be slow as pintopia pins are also in from being heavily delayed so I am shipping both at the same time. Thank you all for your patience!
Great news — the fixed pins are here! They now have the black metal effect and I think they look fantastic! We’re gonna ship out the rest of the orders today/tomorrow, so keep an eye out for that tracking email.
Tokii and I have packed up the remaining and replacement orders for Midnight Festival 2. and as of this message going out - they've all been shipped out! That means all 296 packages with an estimated weight of nearly 100lbs has been completed and are either already home or on their way! If you're posting your pin hauls on social media we'd loved to be tagged! @critcreations :>
I'd like to specially note that Tokii and I are just two people, yet our capabilities for human error know no bounds! We haven't had many issues with the packages that previously went out for this campaign but there was indeed a couple! It served as a good reminder for me to tell you all if you guys have any issues with your package, no matter how small, please do reach out to us at [email protected]- we would be amiss without the chance to fix our mistakes <3
Up next on the horizon;
We're expecting production for Filipino Folklore to be well on it's way to completion.
Mini Myconids is currently in the process of closing it's surveys with production soon to begin.
Research and development for Limbo of Dreams continues with updates coming into rotation.
As everything gets packed up, I wanted to ensure everyone knew that since the stretch goal was only a teeeeny bit away from fully funding, I decided to split the difference and bring Marie Buttons to life! That means all 6 pin designs are made and will be heading home to you soon! Thank you so much to everyone who wanted to meet her, and to all those who decided to support! Packing is a small family operation and it's my first time doing it, so it might take a little bit, but soon all the performers will be doing a wonderful in-house show -- in your house, that is!
All the pins look great, and the stickers for any collab enjoyers out there are looking glossy and beautiful! Picture attached!
We've been hard at work in the background working on fulfillment for this campaign after having received the replacement Ningyo Goldfish pins and the Bake Kujira returning backer stickers. There were still a couple hurdles in the way, namely we ran out of large boxes and had to work on smaller orders while we waited for more to come in, but I am happy to announce our numbers!
Currently we have completed 184 of the 296 packages or 62.16% by quantity. By weight we've completed 1,199.2oz of the total 1,517.79oz or 79.01%% by weight. I expect the rest of the packages will be completed quite soon, though we have a birthday to celebrate and a four day weekend coming up, so it's likely they'll be all shipped out by the evening of September 26th!
Most of these rewards have shipped and the last few will be in the mail soon! There were a couple of errors that were brought to my attention regarding the post-campaign stretch goals that I wanted to follow up on.
1. There were a few goals that did not meet their order minimums and did not go into production (Berry Pie, Cottage, Mailbox, Rabbit Skull, and Fun Guy Fungi). Due to a survey formatting error on my side, folks were charged for these items when they should not have been. I have gone in and issued refunds to all effected backers, which should clear in 5-7 days. Thank you to the couple of backers that pointed this out.
2. Some of the backers who had purchased the Cottage add-on ended up receiving a butterfly specimen pin instead. This was because of a SKU mix up on my side. If you received a butterfly specimen pin you didn't order consider it a happy accident, enjoy the bonus pin!
3. A few backers have failed card payments from the campaign and/or pledge manager. Backers with unresolved payment issues have 90 days to fix them before I close the campaign. If you fix your payment please feel free to email me at [email protected] to let me know so that I can get to shipping things as they come in. My email inbox gets flooded daily with Backerkit automated reports and the odds of me missing something in them aren't low.
Hey everyone, just wanted to give y'all a quick update on how fulfillment is going. After receiving the pins from our manufacturer, we realized there was a mistake that wasn't visible in the photos they had sent us and so we weren't able to catch it before they were sent to us. The pin was supposed to be dyed black metal, but they made it nickel instead. This normally should have been easy to catch but the camera they used to take the photos with WAS black, so it was black reflected in the metal which made it look... you guessed it... black. Plus, the glow-in-the-dark effect was missing from the lamplight, which is a pretty significant part of the design!
Both of these pictures are of the same pin. You can see on the left that the metal is clearly not black like the screenprint. But on the right, the angle of the photo and my camera make it look like the same color.
We've already asked them to be remade and the fix is in progress, but that does mean there is a delay for anyone who ordered this pin.
The only backers affected are ones who ordered the Endless Chase pin. Everyone else should have already received their packages. We will post here once we have the pins in hand, which I believe should be soon!
Check out the glow effect for the Window Peeper, I love how it turned out
Great news! Pins are all here! I just need to quality check them all asap and we can get to shipping!
Because of this, cards will be charged soon! You should have gotten a 48h notification warning, and after that another warning that address will lock. I dont have photos yet, but I will be back with them once I have gone though them all.
