My name is Megan and I'm the Head Artist at Slothie Studios, a small business dedicated to creating quality plushie themed products at an affordable price. It started as a small part-time business during my College years, but quickly blossomed into a full-time passion.

I make plushies and patches using an embroidery machine. While I love selling these items at conventions and in my etsy store, it can be quite grueling on my hands. I quickly learned it isn't doable to sell only handmade items. That's why I started investing in another product I love: enamel pins.

All of the designs I produce are from fandoms I consume. I don't believe in profiting off things I'm not 100% passionate about. I put so much love into every item that comes through my studio and I want that passion to show in everything I do.

All my pins are made in a partnership with the artist Mr-Tiaa. We work together to create the designs with my feedback and their artwork. They are paid fairly for what they do with art costs and royalty costs. It's been a joy working with them over multiple projects.

All of our items are made with the highest quality possible. Our inspection proccess is top notch, including an initial inspection when they arrive and a last chance inspection as they're packed for shipping.

Orders to Canada and USA will include tracking.

International orders will not recieve tracking. They will be shipped Small Packet Air which takes estimated 6-10 business days. We will do our best to replace any lost packages through this method.

Notice for international backers: Backers are responsible for any customs fees or taxes that may be placed on international orders. No refunds or replacements will be given if your package is lost or returned to sender as a result of not paying these fees.

You will not be charged shipping until the post campaign survey. Please keep in mind that you will need to pay for your shipping at a later date if you wish to recieve your package in a timely matter.

Due to new EU packaging laws, we are unable to ship to the following countries at this time:
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.

The biggest challenge facing projects are the risk of Tarriffs for USA buyers, as the minimum amounts and percentage is constantly fluctuating. Since I am Canadian, these tariffs will not affect the price for me to import products. The prices are set in stone by our manufacturer - who we have a longstanding relationship with.

In our last project, I left the tariff responsibilities on mail packages to the backers and it was very annoying for everyone involved, including myself. While it was the best way to do it at the time, the tariff situation has been a bit more steady over the last year.

This time, we have rolled the tariffs into the shipping prices for USA backers. This means your shipping costs are a bit higher than usual, but there will be no surprise fees. If tariffs increase between now and fulfillment, I am prepared to pay the difference in costs myself.

For Canada, there are no additional duties at the door because I am also Canadian.

For international countries, laws vary by country and you may be charged duties upon arrival.
