Hudson is curious monster who lives a quiet life in Monster Village. One day while gathering food on the edge of the forest, Hudson sees an amazing sight: Human Town! They have delicious food that Hudson has never seen.
Not knowing he needs an invitation, Hudson goes on a rampage, eating everything he comes across. This obviously alarms the town and ends in an unfortunate explosion that has consequences not only for Hudson's belly but the future Monster-Human relations.

Hudson is getting HUNGRY
Hey everyone —
Welcome to the pre-launch. If you're following this page, you already know what's coming — and I appreciate you being here early.
For those just joining: Hungry, Hungry Hudson is a picture book about a loveable monster with one serious problem. He can't stop eating...especially food that doesn't belong to him.
Kids 6–8 are going to love him. Parents are going to laugh. And nobody's pantry is safe.
We go live on October 29th as part of The Book Bazaar 2026 — a collection of indie authors all launching together this fall. Between now and then, I'll be dropping some behind-the-scenes looks at the book, introducing you to a few of Hudson's monster friends, and giving you reasons to stick around.
One thing worth knowing: if you back within the first 48 hours after launch, you'll get a Hudson sticker on me. Just a little thank you for showing up early.
