Preview: Boilerfolk Warrior of the Rodeo Monk
This is a preview of two of the 20+ Species and Subclasses that will be included in the sourcebook!
Boilerfolk Warrior of the Rodeo Monk
🖌️ Rick Hershey
In order to become the largest locomotive builder in the Federation, Bellwin Locomotive Works created the Boilerfolk to work in their factories. These steam-powered automatons could work longer and harder than ordinary workers, but still required fuel and water. Later, they were also manufactured by other companies and adapted for use in other industries and trades. Now they can be found throughout the Federation and Frontier towns.
Warriors of the Rodeo use ropes to control both animals and enemies. These Monks are natural wranglers, and their deft use of whips and lassos lets them move their foes exactly where they want them, or tie them down.

Tarhan Path of the Stampede Barbarian
🖌️ Rick Hershey
Tarhan are a hardy species of bisonfolk and the most common Humanoid species native to the Frontier. They are known for their broad, muscular build, thick, shaggy coat, and black-tipped horns. They make up the majority of the Tahut faction, but are still frequently seen in Federation towns and Nezca camps.
Barbarians who run the Path of the Stampede channel their Rage to become an unstoppable force. These Barbarians charge into battle, knocking down whatever is in their way, and trampling it underfoot.
Thank you for your following my project! I've been working on some exciting stuff for the book and the project itself in preparation for the launch in the fall. One of the fun things I get to share right now is that I've been working on finding a partner to supply custom dice for the project. Even better news is I've found one and now you get to vote on the colorway!
