Project Update: 8 Days Remaining, & Some Previews!
Ni hao, folks!
We're coming up on just a week remaining in the BackerKit campaign, and I figured that I'd touch base with you again, to let you know how thrilled we are at the response. Thank you so much for your support!
If you'd like to have a gander at a couple of previews of what you'll see in FAR WEST, we've got two of them up as free PDFs on DriveThruRPG:
First, a brief look at kung fu in the Far West:

The clans are the secret societies that heroes can be a part of, each with their own history, goals, philosophies, and, of course, their own secret kung fu style that is only taught to members. There are eight clans presented in the core rulebook (The Foxglove Society, The Iron Dragons, The Jade Family, The Mariachi, The Preachers, The Rangers, The Twin Eagle Security Agency, and The Wandering Stars), and there are rules presented for creating your own new clans as well -- and future supplements and adventures will feature the occasional new clan, as the Far West is full of such secrets.
I've finished writing the BackerKit campaign exclusive Designer's Diary, and it's currently in layout, ready to be delivered when the campaign ends. I hope that you find the story of the creation process interesting and informative.
