I just wanted to take a moment to address a mistake I made when setting up the shipping rates. Due to the way Backer Kit is set up, the listed shipping rate to EU countries was $65 which was not what I intended. I was able to access the shipping set up page and reset it to $37.77. The good news is that your card was not charged and this should have no impact on our fulfillment. If your pledge still lists a higher shipping amount let me know via message or email (listed down below).
Shipping For HELLCRAWL As a reminder, we are working together with Studio 2 publishing, who are located in Kentucky. They have a warehouse and handle distribution for Agamemnon Press to game stores. They're a pretty large company and I trust their work, you can see their massive space at GenCon where they take up a whole alley to themselves! I decided to partner with them because we have over 900 backers, which is more than I could handle on my own, especially during the school year. We are on track to start fulfillment via Studio 2 publishing in Fall 2026.
No Import Fees Another benefit of working with Studio 2 is that they will cover import fees for international customers. Another attractive reason to work with them since this is something I've never been able to do in the past. Their message to me specifically was: "We cover VAT and Duties to consumers so the customer does not have fees on their end."
Faster Delivery Times Studio 2 uses FedEx International Connect Plus that typically delivers in 2-5 days. Meanwhile, when I do shipping myself I generally use ePost Global which is cheaper, but can take 13-20 days and has limited tracking. Because of this, the shipping fees are higher than my previous projects but I believe the end result is better. No import fees and faster delivery.
In the Future I understand this still may be a disappointment. I'm going to make sure to be more open about estimated shipping costs in the future. When I started the HELLCRAWL project, I wasn't sure if I would do it myself or use a third party for fulfillment. Now that I know, I will list specifics on our project pages.
If you wish to switch to a digital only pledge feel free to email me at [email protected] or contact me via my website AgamemnonPress.com. I can change your pledge manually. Thank you for your continued support.
HELLCRAWL and OSE month are in overtime and coming to a dramatic close. Thank you for all your amazing support.
This weekend has been an absolute whirlwind of chaos and it’s been pure magic.
1. My wife and I are at our booth at Phoenix Fan Fusion all weekend and day one has been a blast. I won’t be able to post another update or respond to emails until Monday.
2. Questing beast did a video about the Painted Wastelands driving up sales on our Web store!
3. UPS delivered 60 boxes of Empire of Bones today while we were gone! My wonderful neighbors helped them deposit the books safely in our garage. Fulfillment on that project begins next week!
4. We hit our $70k stretch goal so everyone will receive a free chick tract in their physical pledge!
Thank you all for your support what a treat. Pledge manager begins in 2 weeks. See you around!
We are now just 4 days away from the end of this infernal BackerKit crawl and I’ve got something special to show you. Tim Molloy just finished this absolutely colossal illustration after a solid week of work and it might be one of my favorite pieces I’ve ever commissioned.
Dragons are one of those classic parts of fantasy gaming that I’ve always tried to use sparingly. In my mind, if a dragon shows up it should mean something. It should feel mythic and terrifying
The Draconic Demons are ancient horrors of the Burning Hell. Vast winged tyrants born from smoke, greed, and damnation. Deep in one region of the crawl, brave or foolish adventurers can hunt these monsters, steal their eggs, or attempt the nearly impossible task of slaying one outright like these doomed templars here.
If you're a supporter of our bizarre work, do me a favor: share this image everywhere you can. Tell them that it's a new illustration in HELLCRAWL, please be sure to include the link to the project.
I love carousing rules. Ashrezzar is a city of demons, it's my take on the Iron City of Dis. In this Hellish community there are plenty of shops, restaurants, and more for characters to blow their devil dollars on. Doing this can heal Despair damage, and lead to some other side quests.
The Dice Chain. This is something I shamelessly stole from Goodman Games because I'm a filthy sneak like that. The OSE Dice Chain is as follows: d3, d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20. The DCC Dice Chain is as follows: d3, d4, d5, d6, d7, d8, d10, d12, d14, d16, d20, d24, d30. I want referees to use whatever dice chain they wish. You can easily create your own dice chain. If you'd like to buy some d24s and d30s they sell them at Impact! Miniatures
I must warn you, players will lose their shit when they have to roll a d7!
Tattoos. I have a tattoo of a sword on my forearm, it's the sword of Achilles from Infinity. My wife's friend has a "Live Mas" Taco Bell tattoo on her butt cheek.
I wanted to take a moment to share some more of what is inside HELLCRAWL. This first pass layout is done. There's lots of open spaces for art. Our editor is going through the book and Tim is knocking out illustrations.
