We've finished making all the items for this project and have started shipping this week!! We should have everything out by the end of next week.

Just a heads up for those of you who have already received your shipping notification - our shipping software glitched and pulled all the BackerKit orders into the wrong store in our database so the notifications listed Because Marriage Matters, not Allegory, as the shipper. This is the marriage coaching business of some good friends of ours. We ship a few of their products so they can focus on the coaching. So if you received a confusing shipping notification, that's why! Apologies for any confusion!

Also, if you added engraving to your order, keep an eye out later this week for the engraving questionnaire from me.

Hi all,

We've been wrapping up the post-project survey review with the BackerKit team. A small batch of you should have just recieved surveys. This is what BackerKit calls the "smoke test" to make sure everything is working properly. Once we get a good number of these surveys back and make sure everything is set-up correctly, we'll send the remainder.

Please keep an eye on your inboxes this weekend for your surveys. We'll be starting production the first week of May next week so please get them back ASAP!

Hey all! This project has been a blast and exceeded some of our expectations. So we've decided to keep it going for a few more days, and we're announcing a new stretch goal that could get EVERYONE a little something extra. So, if you're going to make a pen portfolio designed around the idea of accommodating a large variety of pens, you have to actually HAVE a large variety of pens. We obviously had plenty of our pens around, but beyond those, Jess and I have pretty small collections, just a few favorites from local shops and a trip to the Chicago Pen Show a few years back.

Enter Lisa Anderson of Anderson Pens. I called Lisa out of the blue once we had our first prototype and asked if we could borrow some pens to test and photograph the Reliquary. Not only did she lend us a giant selection, she also gave us a truckload of advice from her years of experience. Her insight and kindness is all over this project. So if you have the opportunity to visit Anderson Pens next time you stock up on supplies or add to your collection, please do so. They also frequent the pen show circuit and support the fountain pen community in tons of wonderful ways.
