Hi all!

Everything from the campaign has officially arrived at my house!

We're going to be packing orders soon; most will likely be shipped out this week or next week. My initial timeline posting on the campaign page as shipping being during Aug and Sept is still accurate!

By now everyone should have gotten notified that addresses are locking, and had a couple days to make any changes. If for some reason you still need to update your address, please notify me ASAP before I get your order shipped! There are also a few of you whose cards either didn't go through, or who haven't completed their surveys! I am re-sending everything right after I post this, so please check your spam mail! I am unable to send out your orders until you finalize the survey!

For anyone who didn't back the project already, you can still get things through the pre-order store! I'll be closing it down shortly after I get all the orders shipped out!

You won't believe this, because i had already written out an entire post about how I was cancelling the Doily plush, and had already discussed the best steps to do so with Backerkit. But the next morning the tariff freeze was announced. With this, I'll be able to get everything ordered! The plush included!

I've already placed the order for the Doily plush, and am working my way through ordering everything else now!

Since the project is moving forward, I will be charging cards for shipping + any extras you purchased during the survey. But I wanted to give you a little bit of warning before I did. I will charge cards next week.

Thank you all so much for your support, I am SO HAPPY that I won't have to cancel the plush!!! I really love Doily's design so much, and I am so happy that it's still going to get made!

I haven't put in the orders with the manufacturers yet. Both my plush manufacturer and my pin manufacturer are based in China, and with the way tariffs are rising, I was standing on shaky ground being uncertain of whether or not to move forward.

Tariffs are announced to increase to 125% for imports from China. This is obviously vastly different from what I budgeted for, and what I based prices around. And I have no guarantee that the tariffs will even stop at that percentage.

Tariffs are paid not now, but rather further down the line when the plush and pins are finished and shipped to me. So there would be a high likelihood that I could order the plush and pins only to be completely unable to pay the tariffs when they import, and have all the products sitting in a crate indefinitely, never reaching me. In that case, I wouldn't even be able to refund you because the money would have already been spent on manufacturing.

So I've made the call to pause the campaign for the time being. If the situation with the trade war dies down within a few months, I can start manufacturing. If it doesn't, I will refund everyone.

As for the shipping costs: your cards have not been charged yet. I will not charge your cards unless we get to the point where it seems safe to proceed with the campaign. At that point, I will give you all a warning, so the charge doesn't cause any issues for people not expecting it.
