We're settling into soup-and-snuggle season over here, and I wanted to give you a few quick updates and reminders.
The pins have been ordered from the manufacturer! I'll send another update when I get an update from them, likely with some sample photos.
Surveys are due on November 1st, and that's when I'll be locking orders, too. We only have a tiny number of surveys left to complete, so if you're in doubt, check to see if you filled yours out.
Pledge payments are also due on November 1st. Any outstanding pledges with failed payments will be cancelled after that date.
✨
Also, if you would like to tempt yourself with more Angry Gato goodness, Angry Gato's Holiday Market is coming soon! This campaign features ready-to-ship items including original art, holiday treats, and mystery bags.
Missed the campaign? You can still get pins and other goodness via The Preorder Store! The Preorder Store will be open until November 1st.
One note on the customizable trophies - we had a decent percentage of payments fail so we're converting the customizable trophies to a preorder stretch goal.
If we don't meet our goal, don't worry, I'll remove the items from your cart before charging your payment method.
It's almost that time! when you get to pick your designs!!!
I just sent smoke test surveys this morning, and so far so good. I originally set October 12th as the survey date but I might send it out a little sooner if everything looks good to go.
✨If you have questions or issues, please route them through an email to BackerKit Support.✨ They will be sent directly to me and I can usually address them pretty quickly.
On my last campaign, I saw that sometimes folks sent comments with their issues on polls and updates, and it takes a while for me to see those so please use email!
As a treat for the last hours of the campaign, I've opened up a new tier, the Participation Trophy!
This tier only includes a trophy and one magnetic plaque, if that strikes your fancy. (Plus freebies and add-ons, of course!)
I had been sitting on this one for a while, and I have no idea if there will be any takers 😹 but if you're out there looking for a silly cat trophy pin, I got you!
Cheers! Lindsey + the cats
and since it's so late, heres a live look-in at Angry Gato HQ (my couch) for important cat tax purposes.
We have our winners for the magnetic award plaques!
Drumroll please...
In fifth place, we have Bit Someone Today! Hey, you do what you need to in order to get through the day.
In fourth place, we have Survived Until Dinner! That's a pretty important achievement any day of the week.
In third place, we have Went Out in Public! Sometimes it takes a lot to get yourself out there.
In second place, we have Honorary Cat! It's a pretty high achievement to be counted among the feline ranks. And in first place, give it up for Found the Braincell! Sometimes it's like the red laser dot, always chasing and never catching. So if you've found the braincell, hats off to you!
You can get yours by adding the Customizable Trophy add-on to your pledge, and you can get extra plaques in the add-ons section, too! You'll pick which text you'd like in the backer survey - more info on that soon!
✨
We're approaching the last few days of the campaign, so if you have any cat-loving friends that want to get a last minute pledge in, now is the time!
We hit $4,000, and our trophies have officially unlocked! This means that if you want one, they are now available as an add-on to your pledge.
If you go to the Add-Ons section and scroll to the very bottom, you'll see two new options.
The trophy itself comes with one plaque of your choice, and if you want additional plaques you can add those on separately. You will make your selections for the plaque text in your backer survey at the end of the campaign. ✨
Our plaque text poll is showing three VERY strong candidates, and then a mixed bag with the rest.
We will definitely have the following plaques available:
Honorary Cat (13 votes!)
Found the Braincell (11 votes)
Survived Until Dinner (5 votes)
That leaves the last two pretty wide open.
Let me know in the comments which one(s) you think deserve a spot, even if you've voted before 😸
