Meowdy, friends!

I'm Lindsey, the artist and cat-loving gremlin behind Angry Gato Designs, where I create cute stuff for cat people.

You might also know me as the creator of the Ask the Cats Oracle Deck, and most recently the Welcome to the Cat Cafe Enamel Pin collection.

Earlier this year, I experienced my very first cat shows! 

What a weird and wonderful experience. 

While hanging out, we got to see all kinds of breeds and, more importantly, personalities of cat on display.

Some were well-mannered, some were regal as heck, some were sleepy, and some were a little feisty!

I was inspired to paint this little piece, which became a sticker!

Thus, Chaos at the Cat Show was born.

At this point, we're a few months out and I have a few ideas for designs, but there are a lot of different directions we could go in.

I put a poll up on my previous Welcome to the Cat Cafe enamel pin campaign, and I'm starting to get an idea.

Y'all are here for the sass!   

I was originally thinking of a few different angles for the collection, perhaps adding "Breed Showcase" pins or something like that, but it sounds like silly-award-centric is resonating more with folks.

I love community participation, so expect more opportunities to vote on designs and concepts!
 
Also, I'll schedule a few live streams where we can hang out together while I bring some of these concepts into the world.
