Surprise for collectors!
For those of you that backed a tier for 5 pins or more, I'm making a special little bonus for you!
These will be 1.25" laser cut wooden pins with a special Angry Gato Collector design. I'm planning on doing this for future pin campaigns too, so you can get these pins with each new themed collection.

Everything is running right on time, and we're WAY ahead of my earlier October timeframe so that's amazing.

Progress is being made! I've inspected and quality-checked a bit more than half of the pins already (yay!) and I just ordered backer cards.
This means that shipping will probably start in the next couple of weeks - basically when I get the backer cards in!
If you need to change your address, please do so soon! I will be locking addresses in the next week or so.
Failed payments
15 payments failed on this latest charge for shipping/add-ons.
You should be able to see whether your shipping/add-on payments have gone through, and Backerkit typically notifies you if your payment errored.
If your payment errored, please update your payment info ASAP!
In the meantime, I will check into these payments. I've noticed that sometimes Stripe blocks the payments on their end before even reaching out to the bank. The easiest way for us to take care of this is to secure payment outside of Stripe.
If you're one of those folks that have blocked payments, I'll reach out to you and let you know. My preferred way to settle these is via PayPal, and once the invoice is paid, I will credit your BackerKit account so you have no further balance.

The pins came in last night, and they are looking SO GOOD!!
(I honestly didn't think they'd come in that fast based on past projects so.. yay!)
What's next?
I'll be quality-checking each pin, then packaging, then shipping!
So far the quality looks great - the enamel colors are vibrant and match very well, and they bring me such delight every time I look at them. BUT, I want to make sure I'm checking them over individually so you get the same great quality that I see.
Also, I will be charging cards for shipping and add-ons, so you'll see another email from Backerkit about that.

I'm doing a lot of design work for my upcoming project, Chaos at the Cat Show, launching in September!

In other news, suncatcher stickers are in!
Look at these cuties! Each one is 2" in the longest direction.
I also have vinyl stickers, sticker sheets, and the mystery packs all ready to go.
Everything is now waiting in storage for the magical day that the pins arrive, which should be in 1 to 2 months. That gives me plenty of time to make new googly eye cat portraits, and I might have enough of the Tip Your Purrista mugs put together already.

On the production front, I've placed the order for the pins with the manufacturer, I've purchased the suncatchers and stickers/sticker sheets, and I've started making the mugs. Everything is right on track!
I'll update with some previews of the rewards I have in-hand soon, maybe next week or so.
After that, things around here will be quiet until I have updates from the pin manufacturer but I'll share updates whenever I have them!

If you've submitted your survey, you'll get an email from BackerKit that gives you a 48-hour notice to make any changes to your order. After that, your survey responses will be locked.
If you haven't submitted your survey response yet, you still can. Addresses will not be locked until I have the pins in hand and start shipping, and I'll send an update when that time is approaching.
It doesn't look like we'll meet the goal for Milky Tea or the other rainbow metal Treat pins (womp womp) so I've taken those out of carts before cards get charged.
We're a little shy on Matcha, but I'm getting them anyway so if you pledged for Matcha (or all-in), you will get one!
I'll be closing surveys on Tuesday, 6/30.
This gives everyone a couple weeks to catch up, including resolving any failed payments.

New mugs available!
On a fun note, I've put a Beans mug and a Kit-Tea mug up on my website! They're both 15 oz and have this fun inside color + matching handle.
Beans comes in blue, and Kit-Tea comes in blue and pink.
These are not part of the campaign so they ship within 7 to 9 days of ordering.

I'm thinking through how to package your pins for shipping, and I'd love to get your input.
I love backing cards, but I'm a little hesitant to put the pins *on* backing cards for shipping. Packaging each pin takes more time for your pins to get to you, and it seems likely that if the pins are mounted on the cards, the cards might get damaged in shipping. At the very least, I'd have to buy even more packing materials!
I'm considering enclosing each pin in its original bag, in a printed envelope. I am also able to enclose backing cards separately if there's a demand for it.
