I wanted to use pinto as a fun excuse to try something a little different from my previous campaigns and have things be a slight shift from my usual style.
All of the pins for this campaign will be antique silver and the enamel portion will be the line art instead of doing color filters for skin hair, etc… I wanted these to have a slightly vintage feel so all of the pins will be an antique type metal so there should be some fun textures to give them an aged effect.
At the moment, I am planning on keeping this set on the slightly smaller side as far as different designs available that way it’s easier to get everything unlocked as well as having slightly less choice choices. That way people don’t feel overwhelmed upon looking at the list, because I know I’ve done a few campaigns recently that have had a ton of options and I know sometimes that can be a little bit daunting to look at and have to choose from.
Should the campaign hit all of the designs for unlock my plan would be to offer them in a secondary color and by the color I mean the metal finish would be an antique gold or a brass..
It would be slightly further down the line probably next year if I can manage it comfortably, I would like to do ita bag to go with these. I have it sketched out and I have it broken down and ready to send for sampling with the manufacturer… I just haven’t had the extra funds to go ahead and start a sample production. However, if there is enough interest, I might consider adding it as a limited run type bag now and add it as an add-on choice for everybody it is a medium sized design probably just big enough to hold an iPad sideways a wallet, and maybe your keys not anything too crazy it’s not as large as my lantern which is like a full backpack, but I do have a cute little tombstone style bag. If everyone thinks I should add it now…
Though if I do since it’s not even into sampling yet, I would want everybody to understand that it will take a while to get proofs and images beyond my artwork for it if that is a route we take..
