Project Update: September Update! Schedule! Yay!
Hope you're all doing well and had a wonderful summer! We're excited to share our game plan for the rest of the publishing schedule. We've touched base with Melissa, our incredible artist, and are currently looking at the following:
End of October 2026 - ALL ART COMPLETED
End of November 2026 - LETTERING PASS COMPLETED
January 2027 - LETTERING COMPLETED
This means that backers will get digital copies of the book next January! The book will be available for purchase at all major retailers starting soon. Backer fulfillment for physical rewards will begin in March 2027, with our formal publishing date in the summer of 2027.
Obviously, this timeline extends far beyond what we originally intended, but plenty has happened in the interim that has delayed the book. We're thrilled to commit to these upcoming deadlines and are going to make sure you all have copies of the book in your hands next year.

Last month we completed page 82 of 102. The end is in sight!
Which means we're going to start working on the pledge manager and get that out to y'all soon.

Project Update: June Update!
First off, an apology- I accidentally saved the draft of the May Update and never published it. I blame the fact that I was on the west coast with my co-writer Jordaan.
Progress on the book is slowly being made. Jordaan and I are working on script edits (we're currently arguing about Riverdale, because that is the process) and our letterer is lined up. A little sneak peek is below.

Project Update: April Update!
We have a fun announcement- we have officially tapped Nikki Sherman to do the lettering for the book! Nikki's work is incredible and we can't wait to see what she does.
Nikki will be jumping in as soon as the artwork is complete, which should be sometime in the next couple of months. Here's a little sneak peek of a recent panel we love...

Project Update: March (only slight Madness) Update!
It's going to be a short one this month. We're all chugging away at work- Melissa's just sent in some new inks that are looking wonderful (and showcasing a truly heartbreaking character backstory!). Jordaan is gearing up for a dialogue pass on the script, and I... well, in all honesty, I've been a bit absent because this week marked a new addition to my family.
He's 5 pounds, has the most beautiful grey eyes, and has taken a liking to all of my slippers.
We should still be on schedule, but we'll let you know if anything changes. Until next month, all the best to you and yours! And because it is illegal to mention you got a puppy without sharing a picture...
