Project Update: Approximately 70% Done!
Hi Everyone!
I just wanted to check in and let everyone still waiting know that I'm working through the last of the ones that still need to be fulfilled. I was making really great progress and then I started burning out and ended up sick last week, so it was a super small batch that went out. These pin campaigns although fun to design for, do not pay my bills, so it's been a precarious game of "is tonight a packing and shipping night, or am I doing more overtime because we're in a busy period at work sort of night?" 😓 I'm usually averaging about 50-80 shipments per week, but last week I could only get 25 out. I apologize that this is taking so long, and honestly this has been a pretty overwhelming amount of orders lol, but the good news is that there are only 172 orders left.
If anyone has been keeping up with my social media, you'll notice that I've almost if not completely stopped posting. And I was going to participate in Pintober which is in full swing right now, but I don't feel like I can launch anything new until the Rude Moods shipments that are ready to be shipped, are out. Usually I can multitask...but I'm not comfortable with this many orders not already wrapped up.
I don't even have motivation to work on anything for the next Pintopia happening next year... and IF I participate, it'll be probably the smallest collection I've ever launched... because... I'm a bit tapped out at this point and only have enough energy for what I have to do. 😅
Just a note that if your address has still not been locked, which would be 9 of you, just know that you're being counted as well, so don't worry. The reason your address has not been locked is because you missed the due date for surveys to be completed for the order. (I had sent out reminders prior to locking orders) Since I didn't know what you wanted at the time that the order was made, I had to try and guestimate how many of the pins we would actually need. I want to make sure that all orders submitted on time are getting what they want first because I could not have made these orders without the majority of you answering. I don't have the capacity to order a lot of extras of each pin because they're so expensive to make. It is extremely important to have the totals on hand when ordering and this is how I show my appreciation for relieving some of my anxiety when tallying what we'll need.
Again I can't thank everyone enough for your patience. It's rare for me to have this many backers for a project, and it's been a perfect storm of interruptions and exhaustion. Most of you who have been supporting my pins for years, know that I love getting things out early rather than just on time...so this is not a normal for me and I'm personally irritated that I haven't been able to keep that track record with you this time around.
Thanks
Ashley
