Hello friends! We're back from Gen Con, where we showed many many people how to play Chess Joker, it was a blast.
Containers / shipments to our hubs in Canada, Europe, and Australia have all arrived in the past week, and fulfillment in those regions should be happening very soon!
If you're in the US and haven't received your order, let me know - we'll track down your shipment and figure out what happened.
If you also backed Curling, you're getting two very similar emails!
Fulfillment is complete in the US and much of Asia, and will be underway in August everywhere else. If there're any issues, shoot us an email at [email protected] and we'll take care of it! You can also use our normal parts replacement form at asmadigames.com/replacements - we've sent out a couple of missing pieces so far.
The full Chess Joker FAQ is at https://asmadigames.com/chess, as indicated in the rulebook. It has a full listing of every card and will have any appendix entries or errata if we need it.
Also - we will be at Gen Con this week, in booth #2555 - we'll have Chess Joker demos running all weekend long, hope to see some of you there :)
Hey friends, good news - games are reaching our shipping hubs and fulfillment can begin! For those of you in the US, we'll start shipping orders out next week. The container just reached our warehouse and everything seems to be in order.
For other regions (Europe, Asia, AU/NZ), fulfillment will be going on later in July and August as games arrive at hubs. You will receive an additional address verification from our partners at PTS to make sure your info was imported into their systems correctly.
As has been mentioned, Chess Joker and Mystic Curling Club are fulfilling at the same time - if you separately backed both projects, you'll be receiving one combined package (and we discounted your shipping fees). And, you received a very similar update email from the other campaign just now.

We will be locking all orders and charging cards for shipping for Chess Joker using the BackerKit platform on Tuesday, May 26. Addresses will lock that week as well.
Fulfillment in most regions will happen in mid to late July, based on our current boat projections!

Greetings! Assembly is underway, and we have some pictures! These are stills from a video from the factory, so pardon if there's a bit of blurriness because I'm screenshotting from that. Rest assured, it looks very good. If you're on the fence and haven't pre-ordered yet, now is the time. They won't be open too much longer.

The insert holds the components in five sections - the top for the rolled up chessboard, and four divided sections for the card decks and pieces: The pieces look just like the ones we've had at Gen Con and PAX:
And the cards came out great - good big clear text, and pretty colors. Note again that there's a hair of extra blur here because it's a video capture. Once we have the samples in hand here, we'll do more pictures :)
