Project Update: The Finish Line Has Officially Been Crossed!
We've done it, folks.
All physical goodies — books, bookmarks, prints, stickers, key chains, etc — have been sent out and, as of me writing this, most have already arrived at their forever homes! Some of those international packages do not have active tracking but a good chunk of you have either shared pictures of your loot or told me that the package has arrived, and that is incredibly appreciated. On that front:
This project is getting ready to close.
There is currently 1 person with a failed charge, and 3 people who haven't completed their surveys. You have until August 7th to get it all squared away, because this project closes for good on August 15th!
I'll fire off one more reminder around the beginning of August, just in case.

Project Update: Fly like a bird 🎶 (Or like those physical copies are currently doing.)
Hello, hello!
It's June. Happy Pride!
And a happy birthday month to me. I blame being queer on being a June baby.
Super speedy update to let everyone know that all copies of Monitored Activity are currently on their way to me. All 100 physical books will be on my doorstep in just a few days (maybe by early next week?), and I hope you're just as hyped as I am.
Fingers crossed the World Cup doesn't delay that delivery, since apparently that's a thing that's happening with parcels going through major US cities right now. If it doesn't, which I don't expect it to, and everything else goes according to plan, the next update will be about kicking off campaign fulfillment before June is out!

Project Update: Time to LOCK IN (those orders)
Happy Monday ✨
Just a quick reminder that orders are getting locked this Wednesday (May 20th), and cards will be charged on May 26th (that's the following Tuesday).
Shipping has finally been added to all campaign orders, so make sure to check those out beforehand. Due to, you know, everything, shipping fees have unfortunately increased, but I've made sure to keep those numbers as low as possible. It also helps that all physical rewards are extremely light.
The pre-order store gets to remain open until May 26th as well, so if you know anyone who might like a copy, let them know. Word of mouth is an indie author's best friend, and all that.

Project Update: It's May and I Have PROOF
— that both the month, and MONITORED ACTIVITY exist.
I'm only here to tell you about the latter, though.
That's right. Physical proofs have arrived.
There were a couple of things I had to go ahead and adjust, namely the spine being a bit askew and some sneaky header errors, but all were easy enough fixes that they've already been tweaked. Rather than go straight into the full print run, I've gone ahead and ordered another round of proofs just to make sure that the book is 100% fancy-schmancy on my end.
All digital files are also in their final stages, and with (most) add-ons already in my possession, it's safe to say that fulfillment will be happening earlier than expected! August? More like July. (Maybe even late-June, but let's not get too hasty.)
What does this mean?
- Orders will be locked on May 20th; exactly two weeks from today. You will still be able to change your delivery address in case of a move.
- Cards will be charged on May 25th. What for? Shipping, any add-ons you may have purchased through the survey, and pre-order purchases.
- I'll send out a reminder the Friday before (May 15th) with shipping estimates.
Two weeks until orders get locked also means there's only two weeks left to grab anything else you might want from the pre-order store. There are a couple of keychains and bookmarks remaining, and Connection Terminated: Notes From Prime Plaza is a crowdfund exclusive, so grab it while you still can!

Project Update: Hey, how's it going. IT'S GONNA BE APRIL.
Not as catchy as It's Gonna be May (cue Justin Timberlake), but we make it work around here.
Howdy!
As per my last update back in January, we did indeed enter the Dead Zone of project updates, but I am now here to pop that bubble of silence.
First and foremost, I have received Monitored Activity's final edits this past Friday. You know, the whole point of the campaign? The part of this book you all so graciously helped fund? It is — officially — done. Shout-out to subvertebra over on BlueSky who has been an absolute thrill to work with. I genuinely could not have asked for a better editor.
This means we now get to enter the final formatting and the proof-ordering phase.
I cannot believe we're here, and way ahead of schedule, too. That late summer release date might just become early summer, but let's hold off on any major announcements for a bit longer.
The sticker sheets and bookmarks have long since arrived and are currently hanging out on my desk, eagerly waiting to be sent out to their new homes!
In the coming weeks, orders will be locked in and cards charged for any post-campaign add-on purchases as well as shipping.
Keep an eye on your inbox! Emails will go out a few days beforehand so you're not caught by surprise.
Also — please make sure you've completed your survey! I'm still waiting on a few. If you've somehow lost it in your sea of emails (I don't blame you; my main inbox has 6,400 unread emails...), do not hesitate reaching out to me. I can very easily resend it.
