My definitive edition arrived a couple of weeks ago without the fabric map that has now arrived so I now feel it’s right to add my comments. The book, dice, map and everything else involved are stunning. With amazing production values and so much beautiful new art. I had see the art in the PDF before but the digital version just doesn’t do the printed book justice. Thank you so much to all of the Atlas Games team for making such a stunning product. On the subject of the cloth map. Earlier in the project as it was being developed John commented that it felt like they all thought velum would feel like. Now I have it in hand I can confirm, as someone that has handled a lot of real medieval velum, IT DOES! It’s a little softer and more flexible than the real thing but the surface feel is spot on.
