Mortals favored by the divine had started disappearing for years now; it wasn't common knowledge but a difficult reality. One the god of the dead had personally been assigned to, but when the evidence to find one of those missing mortals came right to his doorstep, everything changed. Finding Lilliana St. James blew everything wide open and brought a goddess, acting under a mortal facade, right to him while she played detective with the Athens Metro Police Department.
But there was something different about her he couldn't quite place, more than just with her skills and knowledge as a detective too; it felt as if the Fates themselves had their hand in this.
