Both of these books borrow heavily from Norse Myth (SOIL) and Greek Myth (A Ghost at Kolonade). Both of these have been done a lot...which parts of the world do you want to see more Fantasy diving into?
My favorite modern authors right now are diving into Eastern and Native American myth to craft their worlds.
Just a quick update for today to let you know what's happening.
I am coming to the end of the final round of editing and will begin formatting the manuscript for ebook, paperback, & hardback early next week. I've been in contact with my cover designer to let her know I'm almost ready, so she's waiting on the final formatting to be done and then she can finish off the covers (it's just the spine width that needs adjusting).
As soon as I have the covers, I'll order proof copies of each format (paperback & hardback). Once the proof copies have arrived and I've checked them over, I'll place the order for backer copies. I'll also be able to work out shipping costs and add them to your surveys.

In the books, the Azure Dragon of the East, Qinglong, is referred to as Dragon Father. Now, according to Drake, the titular dragon in "A Dragon for Darius," Qinglong loves Drake best of all his sons.
Sure, Drake, sure. (I'm not going to argue with a Guardian Dragon.)
So, now, when I say to you, the Dragon Father is available as an add-on for those who've begun their collection, you know who I'm talking about.

As a reminder, we've left our cover artist in the dust so Dragon Father's art is not yet available, and the images on the site are placeholders. When it is completed, it will feature the Azure Dragon, a long-tailed hummingbird, and the element Wood.

Hello everyone! It's almost the end of October. As such, it's time for me to give another update as to where I am with fulfillment. As of this moment, there are currently 29 orders that I am in the process of fulfilling. Of those 29, 8 are currently sitting on my cat tower waiting for me to take them to the post office in the morning, so some folks should be getting tracking information tomorrow. I'm working through making the remaining bonus Opus bookmarks for the other orders as quickly as I can. On a good day, I can make enough bookmarks for 3-4 orders, but most days it's only 1-2 (though I am getting faster at it!).
Right now, this puts me on track for getting the remaining orders out sometime around the end of the first week of November. Slightly behind what I planned, but not drastically so. That said, my jury duty summons is for this week. While I don't have to go tomorrow, the rest of the week is still up in the air on a day-to-day basis. As such, it's possible this plan could shift as a result. That said, I feel like I've managed to keep a small semblance of sanity as I've been doing this, even if my hand is angry at me most days. Curse my insistence of hand-writing sheet music instead of printing it off and laminating it.
That all said, after I'm dong with fulfillment, I hope to have a few retrospective posts about this project up on my Ko-Fi page. If nothing else, I want to be sure to share my experience with this crowdfunding adventure -- the good and the bad -- with folks considering doing it for the first time themselves in the future. Stay tuned for that.
