THE PLUSHES HAVE OFFICIALLY ARRIVED!

Hello everyone! I am excited to share that the plushes arrived over the weekend, and I have begun quality checking them. I plan on quality checking and mailing out single-plush orders at the same time for efficiency. I've been working on the Zebra Griffinches and will start mailing out orders this week!

While quality checking, I fluff out the plushes to re-shape them. This takes a while, so thank you in advance for your patience! This is my first big project and it's very exciting to be working on fulfillment.

Hello everyone! Tomorrow you will receive an email notice that addresses will lock in 48 hours. This means that addresses will be finalized for shipping. If your address changes after the address lock, you can always reach out to me directly at [email protected].

Please note that addresses were collected in the survey, which must be completed in order for you to receive your items. If you haven't completed your survey, you should have received a reminder email shortly before this update. A general note that if your email inbox is full, you won't be able to receive any reminders. 

An update on the items! The keychains and stickers are all ready to go, so after the address lock I'll begin sending out the keychain and sticker orders. Plushes will arrive in September, which matches with the project timeline.

Hello everyone! I am happy to share that the corrected Zebra Griffinch plushes are completed and are on their way to me! They should arrive by mid-September.

As mentioned in the previous update, the manufacturer accidentally used an early sample as the base for the first batch of Zebra Griffinch plushes. They stated they would recycle the materials for future plushes, but before doing that asked if I wanted them for a discounted price. So... I will have many Zebra Griffinch variants available! Their side patch is a different color and its placement is off, so they'll be available at a discounted price. 

The keychains also arrived during plush production! I am quality checking and packaging them all now. Once that is done, I can start fulfilling the keychain/sticker only orders.

Hello everyone! It's been awhile, so here's a production update. As you can see, the stickers have arrived! They look just as I'd hoped, so I'm very excited.

Plushes are almost ready to ship to me as well. All of the designs except the Zebra Finch Griffinch are complete. Look at these big, fluffy piles!

The manufacturer accidentally used a previous sample as the template for the Zebra Finch Griffinches, so the plushes were made with a minor inaccuracy. The corrected plushes will be completed within a week or two, and then everything will ship to me. Thankfully, it's still within the predicted timeframe so it shouldn't cause any major delays.

For transparency: the incorrect plushes are being disassembled and their materials will be used again to prevent waste.

In most exciting news, the Gouldian and Goldfinch samples arrived today! They are as cute (and huggable) as I had hoped. Here are some pictures for previews:

The post-campaign survey is nearly complete--it's being reviewed by the Backerkit Team to make sure everything is working as intended, and I hope to have it sent out next Tuesday. The link to the survey will be emailed to you once it's ready.

Add-ons (additional items) will also be available to add to your order via this survey. At the end of the survey, your shipping address will be collected. Of course, I will be sharing pictures of the Goldfinch and Gouldian plush prototypes as soon as they are completed, which will be before the survey period ends.

Once the survey period is over, production will officially begin! For clear communications, I will be sending out updates as I get production information.
