Hello all and welcome to our little cove! Hidden under a great tree lives a little band of misfits that call themselves "Odds".

 

Opal struggles with her small legs and heavy tired arms, while they are terrific for comforting others, sometimes she has a hard time doing daily tasks without being pretty exhausted. The comfiest place for her is in your arms with her wings around you!

Itsy is our resident wolf-spider!! She has multiple embroidered eyes, multiple snuggly arms (8 to be exact!) and a weighted spider bum to sit wherever you need a buddy to talk with. Don't be too intimidated by her fangs! Itsy is a vegetarian who loves berries and sewing with her beautiful thread.

This campaign is for a plush buddy ODD to be yours! They have many features, besides of course, a friend for life;

This is a pre-order for one of my first limited art-doll collections. I intend to have each stuffed doll style be a limited quantity of under 100 as I have many ideas for the future and I hope to not overwhelm myself <3 Itsy and Opal may have a small story to them in this campaign to follow too... stay tuned!
All of our Odds have a little belly pouch to hold little trinkets you find on your adventures, and all of them are weighted differently depending on what kind of comfort you are looking for as well.

Opal is weighted in her tail and wings, giving her a wonderful hugging experience. Wrap them around you when you're feeling down and rest your head on her soft ears for a comfortable and relaxing embrace for dreaming. 

Itsy is also weighted! She is weighted more in her bum and tummy area, making her feel more like holding something alive! This makes her a wonderful ODD for a friend who is needing a little soul to listen and tote around with on adventures. Her ears have a small bit of wire to pose them as you'd like!

I have a few more ODD plushie ideas in the works that I have high hopes for getting to with this project! As we slowly go through our campaign we may unlock some future blueprints for more oddities to add on to our order <3

Fully Funded assures us to order a small batch of both Plush Itsy and Plush Opal! Additional funding is going into expanding more of the ODDs family and helping me produce more art and stories with my little ODDs. We will have polls and voting with many ideas with the other supporters to discuss what our community adores AND more Odd species that need more recognition and adorable representation to connect with <3

Shipping will be done via Pirateship and myself! While I may not be a whole crew, I am an artist who adores every one of my plushies and want to make sure that every one gets handled and sent out with care. This may cause shipping to take a moment, I appreciate everyone for being so patient with me while I step into my first backer kit <3 I am not charging shipping until later seeing as all the issues we have been having in the US regarding shipping. I am allowing international backers but please keep shipping in mind for later! ;w; it will affect how things will look as you will not be able to see calculated shipping on your pledge beforehand and will not be charged shipping until your surveys are filled out.

 

ABOUT THE ARTIST

This collection has a few oddities, which are animals that I have consistently loved through my life. Being the weird girl who likes bones and plays with spiders and cried if a bird got hurt on our window is someone who is loved too. Maybe the world may not see the Odds as something to leap into love with yet, but I hope these little guys can help more people find some comfort in the things that may once have been misunderstood before.

I hope to do more art with the Odds characters with the focus of helping some other people who may also feel odd, off, or misunderstood. I think there is beauty in most everything, and no matter what cards you have been dealt you deserve some comfort and to feel understood too. Many of my little Odds have hardships, they could be physical, mental, situational... but they always are kind and uniquely them. Just as you must learn to love the odd parts of you! Sometimes days are hard and thats what my ODDS are for, but some days I hope you remember what my Odds stand for which is to keep going and keep being you <3
