Thank you to everyone who supported the launch of Velcrows. Some people haven't yet completed their surveys. We are about to close this BackerKit, so if we don't hear from you by Oct. 31, 2025 you'll not be able to get your items shipped to you.

Hello Velcrows,

As you know, the U.S. President has created a series of tariffs that affect most global shipping, and Congress has done nothing to stop this. The printing and creating of the Velcrow stickers, magnets, and pins were ordered from a production company based in China. There aren't production centers that can create these kinds of goods in the U.S. The current planned tariff for goods sent from China is 145%. 

Was this cost planned for when we held the BackerKit? No, that wasn't possible. 

What does this mean for the Velcrows? Well, we're looking at what's possible.  No matter what happens, you will get your Velcrows. Have no fear. The delivery timeline may be a bit affected, but we hope this will only be by a few weeks.

We'll keep you updated as things progress. No matter what happens, Velcrows stick together.

Hello Velcrows!

Now that the printing has been ordered, we've turned our attention to the second important delivery item: Supporting the Flock!

As promised, 20% of the total collected was divided equally between two charities: Garden of Peace and the U.S. National Women's Law Center.  Both support the LGBTQIA+ community, the BIPOC communities, and Women (including our trans-sisters). To ensure the flock's gift is able to make the most impact, we also covered the processing fees.

Hello Velcrow!

Thank you for your patience. I'm happy to report that the order for the printing of the stickers, magnets, and pins has been placed. I'll be finalizing the proofs with the vendor this week, and confirming that they are perfect. Then it's off to production. The delivery to our warehouse is expected in early April. After that, I'll be placing your delivery orders. You'll be informed when you need to lock down your delivery address.
