Your hand is never only your problem. The card you discard can give another player exactly what they need to unload cards, start a Flow, and collect bananas from the kong who began it. Party Animals add just enough trouble to turn a safe-looking round into a table-wide chain reaction.

Then comes the decision that gives the game its edge: whether to keep improving your hand or end the round while you believe you are ahead. Wait too long and the other kongs may slip below you. Call KONGKANG too early and the peel lands on you. The result is quick, social, and much more about timing and reading the table than simply drawing lucky cards.

Edit

A DISCARD CAN START A CHAIN
Flow keeps everyone involved because one card can pull several players into the same sequence. Match the active value—or make it with two cards—and you can play without drawing, reduce your hand, and earn bananas from the Flow Origin.

SIX WAYS TO CAUSE TROUBLE
Party Animals let you swap, skip, peek, force a draw, pair a HIDE card with another play, or enter a Flow when your hand would normally leave you stuck. Their effects are easy to understand, but their timing can rescue your round or spoil someone else’s.

THE CALL THAT CHANGES THE ROUND
KONGKANG is not a free ending. Calling it when you truly have the lowest hand earns the best reward; misreading the table makes you the loser immediately. That risk gives everyone a reason to watch the other players, not only their own cards.

BANANAS MOVE. PEELS STAY.
Single Bananas can change hands during a Flow, while each round adds larger banana rewards and peel penalties. Because the final score is counted after three rounds, a rough night hurts without deciding the whole game.

SET THE ROUND DIRECTION

Each player begins with five cards and nine Single Banana Tokens. The starting player draws one card, then discards one card, or several copies of the same value.

That first discard also sends play to the left or right. Everyone follows that direction for the rest of the round, so the opening choice decides who will see each opportunity next.

LOWER YOUR HAND

On a normal turn, draw one card, then discard one card or several copies of the same value. You want to lower the total left in your hand without giving the next player an easy opening.

Party Animal cards activate when discarded. Use them to swap, skip, peek, force a draw, pair a HIDE card with another play, or jump into a Flow at exactly the right moment.

START OR CONTINUE A FLOW

Before drawing, you may Flow if your cards match the current value. Play one or more cards of that value, or use up to two cards whose total equals it.

The player whose discard began the Flow is the Flow Origin and pays the bananas: one for each matching card, or one banana for a two-card total. The chain can continue while other players are able to keep it alive.

CALL “KONGKANG!”

Before drawing, once you have discarded at least one card, you may call “KONGKANG!” if you believe your hand has the lowest total. Everyone reveals their cards immediately.

If your call is right, you take the top banana reward; if it is wrong, you take the peel. The second-lowest hand earns the smaller reward. A round may also end when someone empties their hand, or when the deck is empty and no Flow can continue.
