Thank you all so much for your unbelievable support. 🥹 I'm so excited that my spooky little world is going to get the opportunity to continue and have you as a part of it! I'll make a more in depth update after work to share with you all but until then, yay yay YAY!

From the depths of the desert, come 2 stretch goals. We have 3 days left to rock these!

The cast for the audiobook has long been assembled--you heard them in the two trailers--but actually cutting the whole book is much more labor intensive. Two of our actors are from out of town, so this will help fund their travel expenses. I've been working with the Mescalero Apache to make sure we handle Macarthy's incantations respectfully, and this will help me fund travel expenses down that way to work with them in person. 

Right now, the paperback books are done in a very short-shift fashion, which makes them very expensive. It keeps them from being on consignment at independent bookstores and keeps me from making enough profit on them to stay out of the red. Unfortunately, printing costs have gone up by insane amounts in last 2 years, making it harder and harder to offer the paperback options. Personally, I like paperbacks more--they hurt less when they hit me in the face while I'm reading in bed. 😂 Hitting this goal would give SW.Gothic a leg up in indie author distribution arena and also allow me to offer them more widely at signings and on my website. 

We're about 1 week! I've had a few folks ask if I could make the talismans available to add-on to the other pledges, and it has been done. 👻

They're toward the bottom of the add-on page and it should be all of them. My internet is kinda janky, so if you don't see one you wanted, let me know--it might have gotten eaten by the wifi monsters. 

Thank you so much to everyone who has pledged and shared the last two weeks. It's been a very anxiety-inducing time but seeing y'all's messages and social media posts have helped blunt that feeling. It's been a garbage week, y'all. I'm sorry it took me so long to put one of these together for ya. In case you didn't have time to watch the video, my dearest familiar passed away in my arms on Monday. Needless to say, I haven't been much of a person lately... but I'm catching up. Still a long ways to go to make this dream a reality, but I remain hopeful.
