I'm sure you're all chomping at the bit for these guys (and so am I, if I'm honest), so here's an update on where we're at!
For anyone who noticed our the original wolf rider officers were a bit... same-y, so did we! So we took some time to give them a bit more individuality before setting them into their permanent molds. Here's there new look!
Also, since the standard bearer was often brandishing a weapon even though he is shared between foot officers, we decided to rework him to be more easily included across the groups. Here's two WIP's that we'll decide between. We'll likely take most of the ornamentation off whichever we select so that a banner can be more easily affixed. Which do you prefer? Let us know in the comments!
And finally, for our next steps, the stretch goal Khan with his stone dog mount is last thing to finish before sending out surveys! Can't wait to show him off.
Thank you all for helping make this project a success! And thank you especially to those who came back from the first, we must be doing something right and that is incredibly motivating.
With both polls done we'll be running the updated wolf for the khan and the classic style spear riders. The stretch goal Khan on his stone dog will be available in the pledge manager, and pictures available as soon as he's finished!
We'll let you know when everything is ready for surveys and as we start each phase of production.
We knew people were excited, but it's still unreal to see us meet our funding goal and blow past the stretch goal in just one day.
Thank you all so much for, once again, making this possible. Every campaign funded brings us closer to realizing an entire army of Fabelzel's iconic forces, and faces! And with each one we are able to expand his style further.
The clock is already ticking now, brining us all closer to yet more casting. Can't wait to show you more!

And now for the second poll of the campaign! While the current spear sculpts are downright immaculate, I've heard that some may prefer a set with a more Mongolian aesthetic... vote now for which riders you want cast in metal!
(There will be a full set of 5 riders in the newer style once complete, not just the first 3 here)
