LGBT is a one-shot RPG about going to Pride with your friends inspired by comics like Scott Pilgrim vs. the World and a charming Tumblr post. You'll play a queer character with a weapon of your choice racing to make their upcoming Pride celebration the best one they possibly can. Slash, Swing, Spray, and Zap your way through a variety of scenarios across a breadth of genres:
Race across the countryto a big celebration or help a friend remodel their house for a part for a slice of life game
Crack open your spellbook to summon spirits from beyond for a fun, magical twist
Get punk and kick the corporations and big business out of your local Pride events.
Whatever genre you land on, you'll end up enjoying a killer Pride in between epic battles with your rivals, exes, or just plain weirdos (and maybe snag a cute date to boot).
LGBT is a standalone system, it uses a lightweight version of Rowan, Rook, and Decard's Havoc Engine. It's an easy-to-learn d6 dice pool system designed for one-shot game sessions.
Each character has a Pride goal, chosen at the start of the game. Each scene, you can pursue your long-term Pride goal in addition to pursuing short-term objectives and thwarting the hazards in your way.
LGBT is guided by Objectives that form a core tension in each scene of the game. Your path to pursuing your objectives is complicated by hazards, who stand between you and an awesome Pride. When you complete an objective, the core tension in a scene is resolved, and you move on to the next one.
Each player rolls a pool of dice, including the gamemaster! The gamemaster's dice represent hazards' attempts to stop you from completing your objectives, and player's dice represent their best efforts to overcome hazards and achieve their goals. If you aren't able to knock out all the hazard dice, you'll lose some progress on your objectives as the hazards interfere with your plans.
Games come together fast. Creating a character takes a few minutes, and games are 1-2 sessions of 2-3 hours, depending on how quickly you move between objectives and how much time you spend rp-ing crushes on cuties and punting rent-a-cops with a bedazzled baseball bat.
Longsword, Glock, Bat, Taser will be printed as a staple-bound zine with a color cover and interior. This 40-page book will give you everything you need to roll up a character and embark on a whimsical journey to enjoying Pride with your friends and emotional support weaponry in tow.
LGBT is Human Made. No AI was used in the creation of this zine. We believe in keeping art human.

Longsword, Glock, Bat, Taser is print-ready! That means we're ready to send the book to our printer as soon as the campaign concludes, so we can jump right into the surveys post-campaign. We will likely send surveys out within 14 days of the campaign's conclusion to charge for shipping and collect up-to-date shipping information, then ship out pledges by the end of July.
We have a sizeable stock of our Pride merchandise on hand, and we are able to produce some of it in-house. However, if we reach our enamel pin stretch goal, fulfillment may move out by a month or two (August/September 2026) to accommodate production times for the new merch y'all fund. Either way, we anticipate a swift fulfillment period for this game, and we'll keep you posted every step of the way.

Jon Boyle and Bri de Danann are two goblins in a trench coat publishing zines filled with the curious contents of the myriad magical pockets available to them. They're on a mission to make one of every game, from whimsical tabletop roleplaying games like Axolotl with a Gun, LGBT, and Trash to Treasure, to pensive solo/duet gaming experiences like Bonds Between,Terminus, and Beloved.
Bri and I met at Gen Con 2019 and hit it off after a weekend stuffed with tabletop games. Over the course of the pandemic and the following years, our frequent tag-team tabletop rpg projects turned into a comfortable small business publishing games and making art. Now, we publish a couple of big games a year alongside a few zines and creative collabs. The rest of the time we spend publishing smaller projects, attending conventions as vendors, and making our friends (and each other) laugh at game night.
