Project Update: Art & System PDF Update
Hey all,
We've heard from some of you that you weren't seeing the Art & System book PDFs in your digital downloads. Looking into it, there were a few add-on items that didn't get associated with the right preorder store orders. We have now made those associations and sent out another round of digital download emails.
If you believe that you should have access to the Dog Eat Dog, Princess with a Cursed Sword, and/or The Mountain Witch PDFs and you still don't see them, please reach out ([email protected]), and we'll dig into it more.
Stay digital, friends.

PROJECT UPDATE
Project Update: The Mountain Witch PDF
Hey all,
For those who pledged for a PDF of The Mountain Witch (in whatever combination of pledge tiers and add-ons in which you did that), you should have an email from Backerkit letting you know that you have access to the digital reward now (Dog Eat Dog, Princess with a Cursed Sword, and other digital rewards were released a few weeks ago before Gen Con, in case you missed those).
This is the version going through manufacturing, so if you see anything wrong with it (a typo, whatever), please let us know; there's still a little time to catch errors before the full manufacturing process barrels forward (email [email protected]). If there are any other corrections made, we'll update the download in the Backerkit and let you know we did that.
You'll also see a file in your downloads listed with "Components" in the title. These are the print & play files for the cards and trust tokens included in the game box.
Stay arty, friends!

PROJECT UPDATE
Project Update: MPCs for Dog Eat Dog and Princess with a Cursed Sword are HERE!
As promised -- here are the photos of the Dog Eat Dog and Princess with a Cursed Sword MPCs. Take a gander at the gorgeous proofs of these RPGs!
PROJECT UPDATE
Project Update: Manufacturer's Prototype Copy (MPC)
Hi All,
We were hoping to have the MPCs of both Dog Eat Dog and Princess with a Cursed Sword in our hands before Gen Con. Unfortunately, some technical details with the book covers required reworking some files. We got all of that done, and Dog Eat Dog is on its way directly to Gen Con. Princess with a Cursed Sword may also be arriving at Gen Con. Our manufacturing partner is Panda, so both books are getting shipped directly to our Panda Rep. He is then going to hand them off to us (probably on Thursday). The MPC is our final check to make sure everything with the product looks good before it goes into manufacturing. After we have a chance to look them over, we will try to post some quick pictures here for you, our lovely backers, and then put them on display at our Gen Con Booth 2758. Please stop by and take a look if you want to see them. I would aim for Friday rather than Thursday (also apologies if they aren't there - this is really a scenario where everything needs to line up).
Happy gaming, everyone!

PROJECT UPDATE
Project Update: Art and System Update and The Blue Way
Hello, all!
First, an update on something we're very excited about: the pre-production copies of Dog Eat Dog and Princess with a Cursed Sword should be here any day! We can't wait to flip through and share some images with you soon!
Second, we wanted to let everyone over here know that we have a new crowdfunding campaign currently live! Head on over to The Blue Way's page to help us make an enhanced version of Jason Morningstar's game. The new version will bring the original PDF to life with a deck of cards, a tear-off character sheet pad, and a box, all adorned with Samuel Araya's eerily beautiful art. (You already know his work from the cover of Dog Eat Dog and some of the art in Five Hundred Year Old Vampire.) We are also excited to be offering The Blue Way Curriculum Guide as part of this project -- and it is no ordinary teaching guide. It will actually include not only alternate card decks, which expand upon The Blue Way's themes of colonialism, but also an entirely new game by Dr. Allen White, The New Way, which examines engineering ethics. (For more information, check out the page at: https://www.backerkit.com/c/projects/central-michigan-university-press/the-blue-way-a-game-of-lost-stories)
Third, we are trying something a little different with this new crowdfunding campaign: t-shirts! While the campaign is running, you will be able to order a shirt with Samuel Araya's art for The Blue Way. We can't wait to get ours! And while we were thinking up this idea (and getting excited about wearing the shirt to conventions and game nights and classrooms), we decided to expand our experiment and make shirts for Dog Eat Dog and The Mountain Witch as well! Visit The Blue Way's page to buy your shirt before July 16th, when the campaign ends.
Thank you to everyone for your support! We are delighted to be able to do what we do, and you have made it possible. Thanks!
