Hey, Cookie Crew!

I apologize for my silence. I swear things are happening behind the scenes. I've been struggling with our camel a bit... imagine it as kind of an art block. You can get those when working through the sampling process. Sometimes you're just hit by limitations, whether it's like... your own lack of knowledge, or there are just some things you realize were better in theory than practice! It's a whole lot, but I think we're getting somewhere on it now!

I've sent in redlines, so I figured I'll show those to you guys! The first thing we worked on was Toulouse's mouth. I really wanted it to have more shape than my previous plushies, and I have quite a few Lion King stuffies which ended up being good inspiration! 

I think the results are pretty cute! He's got quite a shapely peanut now, which is a weakness of mine when it comes to any critter! The only thing is, we can't have teeth poking out, but... I think I'm willing to sacrifice that for this amazing peanut.

While I'm on this topic, I'd like to share something I learned recently. Apparently they print our eyes on an A4 paper, which has been leading to distortion of my eye files, so I had to go through and rework my files and resend them, but I think this will help cut down on the time spent moving the facial features around so much during the prototype process! I'm waiting to see what the updated Toulouse face looks like now that they have a properly formatted file!

Here is Raina, too!! I love her head shape now. They keep forgetting her multi-color horn, but we are really close with her. I can't wait to shake her in person. I love rhinos!!! She needs a little bird friend to sit on her head... maybe that could be a future accessory hehe.

We're also working on some things with Jeanie Jam regarding her eye file now that I've updated it to A4. I imagine there will be updates soon and I'll definitely share the photos with y'all soon. That has been one of the biggest issues for her. Her eyes have been all over the place, so I'm hoping this will make a difference!
